983 keeps getting amended, doesn't it?
Come to think of it, merging 308 with 947 to form an intertown route a la 38 and 60 sounds like a great idea. 944 moves over to TT in exchange, while the merged entity of 308/947 gets operated from CCK route group instead.

Good suggestion, although this needs to be a trunk and can still be introduced doing BBT West town after doing 308/947 route.

Not too good route-wise, because it would be somewhat duplicative of 188/985.
If an extension of 308 is desired, it would be better to route it through the BB West new area (and possibly to Jurong East) because that place genuinely needs inter-town services.

188/985 dun serve Keat Hong (CCK N8). My suggested merger of 308/947 will help provide those living in that area with more options. The map says it all.
944 being run by SMRT makes it better off as part of an intertown route originating from CCK incorporating the current 308. Not sure if there is any right turn from BBT West Ave 5 new section to BBT Rd though.

Agreed,944 can let TTS operate while a new trunk BBT-Keat Hong is run by SMRT

Route could be something like:
BPJ Interchange
BPJ Road
CCK Road
CCK Ave 1
CCK Ave 6
Brickland Road
Bukit Gambok MRT
Bukit Batok West Ave 7
BBT Road
BBT West 5/8/6
Bukit Batok West Ave 3

I've ask a 983 perm BC and she say that the amendment to serve Keat Hong Close is currently under studying...
Compassvale Int to Changi Airport T4 is Service 878 which operating by SMRT Buses not 114, according to Land Transport Guru website.

Don't really know what to believe on that site ... there's a couple of zombie pages for non-existent services 137, 878, 290, 807

new Yishun feeder operated by SBST (80x)
Ten Pines needs feeder for? (hold, 290 is a former svc)
Ubi might need service.
but 87x? the series is left unused (probably reserved for Tibs in the past for some sengkang svc or some NE svc)
so where should the new Compassvale-T4 svc ply? Any good suggestions?

Should be simple. My guess:
Compassvale >> Punggol Road >> TPE Punggol >> Changi Airport T4
My preference: 114
Compassvale >> Sengkang East Way >> Punggol Road >> TPE Punggol >> Tampines Ave 10/9/6/5/4/7 >> Changi Airport T4
* Full fleet DD
27
Hougang >> Hougang Ave 6 >> Buangkok MRT >> Sengkang Central >> Compassvale Dr >> Compassvale Rd >> Compassvale St >> Punggol Road >> TPE Punggol >> Changi Airport Terminal 1/2/3
* Full fleet SD
126
Tampines Concourse >> Tampines Ave 9 >> Tampines Regional Library >> Tampines Ave 4 >> Tampines Ave 5 >> Changi Airport 1/2/3
* Full fleet SD
34 (no change)
Punggol Interchange >> Punggol Road >> TPE Punggol >> Tampines Ave 10/5/2/7 >> Changi Airport 1/2/3
53C
Bishan Interchange >> Changi Airport 1/2/3
* SD fleet
53D
Bishan Interchange >> Changi Airport 4
* DD fleet (remove 53M as DD will provide increased capacity)
53C/D alternate each other from Bishan.
* Same pattern can be operated for svc 24 & 36.

Yishun: Feeder 807 in Q2 2018 after the introduction of Feeder 803 and 805, and going by odd no.
Tampines North:Q4 2018
Tampines West: Q2 2020
Pasir Ris - Tampines: Service 68, maybe in Q2 2018.
Kaki Bukit / Ubi: If either of these areas needs a new service, then its introduction probably coincides with the opening of DTL3 opening on 21 October 2017.
Changi Airport Terminal 4 - Compassvale: Service 114 should be in Q4 2017 / coincides with the opening of DTL3 opening on 21 October 2017?
