Apparently, there is going to be a new bus service connecting Compassvale Bus Interchange to Changi Airport PTB4 according to landtransportguru.net
Hi mr seveneighteightsix, this means a minor relief to 27/858 as it will bypass TPE stop as well. Looks likely T1/T2/T3 is distinct from T4 as there seems to be own shuttle service from changi airport group. So public bus services serving T1/T2/T3 may not serve T4. Cheers. Thanks.

Considering the operator is SMRT instead of Tower Transit, there's a possibility that bus service 944 belongs to the Choa Chu Kang-Bukit Panjang negotiated contract, instead of Bulim bus package.
After all, it was mentioned before on SGforums that a bus service would be withdrawn. Bus Service 944 could be the replacement.
If so, the withdrawal of that bus service could be one day before the commencement of new bus service 944.
Nonetheless, let's wait for the official press release from SMRT.
Meanwhile, I don't remember there was any mention about Bulim bus package having new bus route, just more buses: from 367 buses to about 500 buses in 2021.
Originally posted by gekpohboy:As for the bus service withdrawn, it’s probably 75, 184 or 700, as they “will continue to operate from the (Bukit Panjang) Temporary Bus Park” when the new Bus Interchange opens. Previously, everyone was guessing which bus service could be withdrawn. Now with the Bus Interchange opening announced, the list has been narrowed down to just 75, 184 and 700. So what would it be? The answer would be revealed shortly.
How are you so sure that it's definitely the services originating from the bus park?

but at tower transit's instagram page, it mention abt welcoming SMRT's 944 to bkt batok int & relocation of 941 to berth 4

really screwed up if this feeder 944 is handled by SMRT. economic of scale and common sense should let TTS run

The first two while Mr LTY is genuine until the new Head takes over
SMRT should run 177 instead of 944

Not sure. Just guessing only. I also dunno whether there would be bus service withdrawn, not to mention which bus package 944 belongs. All these are just guesses only. For all we know, there's not even going to be a bus service 944, but instead, it could be 184 rerouted to Bukit Batok, just that they type wrongly. Anyway, let's wait for the official press release, if there's ever a new bus service 944, or whatever bus service withdrawn.
I remember 3004X said that there wont be a X44 svc bcos its an unlucky number...whats he gonna say? 😂😂😂

Probably merger of 190 and 700. This move makes quite a lot of sense. Meanwhile 972 can terminate at NBR to cover 190 deleted section.
