  123 will be a favorite amongst tourists who want to go to Orchard. Dont need to spend heavy sums of money on taxis. DDs will do well.

  I would recommend they also have 991 do RWS <> Bukit Batok Interchange via BBT West (new) town and 61 will do Kampong Bahru Terminal <> Eunos Interchange

  provided they got our EZ-link card, or enough coins to pay for the ride.

  Otherwise they can only take taxi, or their tour bus.

  123 is already a long and winding route.

  Should have just launched a new route between Sentosa and Queen Street Bus Terminal, which is actually behind Orchard Road.

  By the way, what was the bus route that went to Sentosa previously?

  I remember in the past, before there was HarbourFront, we had to alight at Tiong Bahru MRT station and take a bus into Sentosa. That bus was run by SBS, and if I'm not wrong, that bus had double deckers.

  Those who know, do you all know what's that bus route? Is it still around, or withdrawn already? Thanks.

  They used to have Mk IIIs in green livery serving Sentosa. Rego range from 625-645 IIRC. Apparently from HGDEP. When SBS Leisure took over, these buses were reassigned to regular routes.

  That is provided they waive the $1 Sentosa Island admission charge (which I expect them to follow since it's waived for 188R/963R)

  It will also do well for workers who live along Bukit Merah/Tiong Bahru estate + can go direct to EWL rather than alighting at HF to take NEL and then take the long underpass to transfer to EWL.

  I suspect in few months DDs will do well on 123. 

  With this change: 123M should change to 122.

  Harbourfront >> Lower Delta Road >> Bukit Purmei Road >> Lower Delta Road >> Jalan Bukit Merah >> Kim Tian Road >> Tiong Bahru MRT >> Lower Delta Road... continues to current route but loops at Queenstown MRT rather than Commonwealth Dr and comes back via Dawson Road.

  Actually prefer sv 80 to be amended to RWS. Parallel with sv 145 from lavender all the way to Vivocity.

  The reasons why 123 will be extended to Resorts World Sentosa, is because there are so many requests to bring bus service to Sentosa from other towns.

  HarbourFront Interchange had removed 2 services.

  61 should at least go to HarbourFront... Can maintain connection to HBF and transfer to 991.

  About 122's looping point, there was a really good suggestion on routes.one for 122 to be amended to both parts of Commonwealth Dr (bus stops served by 61 and 195), passing through Commonwealth MRT twice.

  123 to Orchard too winding lah. Better to take 123 > 65

  123 should be an overnight service on Fridays, Saturdays and P.Hs man... can extend op hours to 2am on these days. It's already pretty popular among tourists whose hotels are primarily in Havelock/Clemenceau/Orchard.

  Now ppl living along EWL going to RWS can take 123 directly from Tiong Bahru MRT, rather than transferring to CCL/NEL then taking RWS8 from HBF MRT...

  JOINT NEWS RELEASE BY THE LAND TRANSPORT AUTHORITY (LTA) & SBS TRANSIT - BUS SERVICE 123 EXTENDED TO ENHANCE CONNECTIVITY TO SENTOSA

      Commuters can look forward to greater convenience and enhanced public transport connectivity to Sentosa with the extension of bus Service 123 to the island from Sunday, 30 July 2017.
  
  2.  Service 123 will be extended to Sentosa’s Beach Station Bus Terminal. Within Sentosa, Service 123 will call at three bus stops:

  • Resorts World Sentosa (14519) along Sentosa Gateway;
  • Merlion Plaza (14521) along Artillery Avenue; and
  • Opposite Merlion Plaza (14529) along Artillery Avenue

  3.  With the change, Service 123 will no longer go to HarbourFront Bus Interchange, nor call at three bus stops along Telok Blangah Road:

  • Vivocity (14141);
  • Opposite Vivocity (14119); and
  • HarbourFront Station Exit A (14129)

  4.  To get to these three bus stops, commuters who currently take Service 123 along Tiong Bahru Road, Lower Delta Road and Bukit Purmei Avenue can take Service 123M instead. For the rest of the commuters, they can make a same-stop transfer to Services 65 or 855 along Lower Delta Road.
  
  5.  The operating hours of Service 123 departing from Bukit Merah Bus Interchange will remain unchanged from 5.45am to 11.45pm from Mondays to Saturdays and from 6.00am to 11.45pm on Sundays and Public Holidays. For the other direction departing from Sentosa’s Beach Station Bus Terminal, it will operate from 6.00am to 11.45pm from Mondays to Saturdays and from 6.15am to 11.45pm on Sundays and Public Holidays. Please refer to the Annex for more details.
  
  6.  Information on the route extension will be available at all affected bus stops, bus interchanges, and on buses, as well as online at LTA’s websitehttp://www.lta.gov.sg/ and SBS Transit’s websitehttp://www.sbstransit.com.sg/.
