Blk 25B to Lor 8 TPY: take 5 from Blk 129 Lower Delta, alight at Opp Novena Church stop at Thomson Rd then transfer to 57 then either get off at Lor 6 TPY stop (Blk 237) and walk or get off at TPY swim complex stop then change to 238 depending on your destination.
Am unsure about the salvation army part, but I believe taking 73 from Blk 237 stop sould get you there in the quickest time possible?

From Kranji to Larkin, can we transfer between 160/950/170 without incurring extra costs? I mean 160 Kranji-Woodlands Crossing, 950 to get onto JB side, then 170 all the way to Larkin.

most likely got transfer hence got extra costs
must be SBST Service 160/170/170X across to JB then free of charge since you start with 160

But now it is mileage-based fare, isn't it? Also, all assets under government ownership and all fares are collected by them hey?

SMRT parking guys told me that they’re rotated between Amdep,Lydep and Sedep.
They also say 853,854,855 & 857 park at Sedep next month.

At Woodlands checkpoint and JB custom, when you tap out the ez-link card, it’s “trip disrupted, not trip end. The purpose is to allow passengers to alight from the bus to chop passport / scan passport before boarding the bus again.
After you chop passport, you can take the same bus service again. The ez-link card reader will say “trip resume (1 beep, same as “trip disrupted). You will continue the same trip as earlier on when you tap out to chop passport / scan passport.
Alternatively, you can take another bus service to cross the causeway. It will be a new trip, but either way (whether you take the same service or different service), the fares are the same as everything is distance-based.
But, if you are taking 170 to Woodlands Checkpoint and intend to take 170 from JB custom to Larkin Bus Terminal, you must take 170 all the way to enjoy distance-based fare. Otherwise, if you take another bus service and take 170 again at the JB custom, it’s considered a new trip.
To answer your question, if you take 160 to Woodlands Checkpoint, 950 to cross causeway and 170 to Larkin, no extra cost would be incurred as everything is distanced-based. The fare is the same as taking 170 all the way.
For further clarification, you can use the fare calculator at https://www.mytransport.sg/content/mytransport/home/commuting/busservices.html#Fare_Calculator.
By the way, now the bus ride to cross the causeway is smother because the authorities have created a lane on the causeway for bus and lorry only. Whereas the cars are jammed up from Woodlands to Johor Bahru, there is a smooth passage for bus and lorry.

Things should change for the better once Mandai is ready. IIRC it should be open by early next year.

Most probably Amdep is just a maintenance and parking place for most spare buses.Or some WLD,SBW and YIS svc start there.

By the way any buses transfer to TTS for 974?
Shouldn't Service 381 be considered as a Townlink Service (like Service 222)?

Pretty sure it's wrong. I've done 170-160-170 b4 when i cross the causeway. But if u do 170-160/170-160, then it is considered a transfer
And to all those out there, this is a travel hack at the causeway: aft woodlands checkpoint, queue up at 160 lane, coz 1. It's shorter; 2. Many ppl donno that the sbs personnel will let both 160 and 170 queues board any SBS bus that arrives; and 3. The 160 queue would end up boarding from the back door, which means u will get to the seats first!
Ive not tried mixing all 3 services when crossing the causeway, but it is worth the try!

Now all rojak,84 considered as trunk..334 can convert into trunk and renumbered as 144.
