The only concern may be later the residents complain the buses too noisy because of the close proximity to nearby blocks.
Make it compulsory for BCs to shut off the engine if parking..Ghim moh survived that for eons
may i know what is the actual number used for 12e & 147e?
just like other e services got their own number as well as CT services
SG4002G is euro V right? so guess we wont be see it on the road any more?
SG4002G is still a euro V. Now depending on LTA which operator will receive this bus after trials on 190 & 901.

They tend to be away from their buses for quite some time, longest i waited inside the bus is 10 mins where the driver left go toilet, then i saw him using hp outside for full 10 mins. Idk how the bus is so early even after stopping at bus stops for ‘people’ to board
They added short break time for both Sv911 & Sv913.. Just like those WRI days..

911, 912, 913 even if do not wait, commuters waste lot of time with bus getting in and out of interchange. I think this should be more efficient like 811, 812 and 307 where bus does not enter interchange for intra-town purpose.
This is why 912 now has a frequency of 20 mins per bus while 912A, 912B and 912M have better frequency.
My suggestion is there should be a trunk that connects east and west Woodlands without going into interchange.

During the CNY day 1, the BC of TIB1142A on Service 913 [the bus I was on] literally parked the bus on one of the empty parking lots beside SBS Transit lots right after alighting passengers from Woodlands Checkpoint and return to berth to pick up passengers towards Woodlands Circle ...

Thought bcm enforced cannot do ONP?
So what service park at Amdep and SEDEP?

Probably the rules only apply to routes that have already been farmed out? 853-857 still on negotiated contract for another 2 years.
...
I suspect that AMDEP & SEDEP buses are interchangeable. My arguing point is that all bus infrastructures, including depots, are owned by LTA, as such operators can randomly park their buses in any of these depots. On why I think AMDEP & SEDEP buses are interchangeable is that these 2 depots are relatively close to each other. It still makes sense for YIS services to park at AMDEP even though they are "allocated" to SEDEP under Seletar package. YCK services may also be parking at SEDEP to relieve stress off AMDEP. Do correct me if I am wrong.
Secondly, I will like to argue that some buses that perform on a service that is not allocated to the same depot as the bus may not be a transfer.
Eg: SBS8199J (BNDEP 5) may perform on 272 as an emergency deployment due to long headways, and since the bus driver driving SBS8199J knows the route of 272, he can be deployed on 272 for 1 trip until an ARBP backup arrives.
My point is that if a "foreign" bus is deployed on a service, it may not be a depot transfer.
The thing is there are 2 AMDEPs. One for SBST and the other for SMRT. The latter is purportedly relocating to Mandai next year before the tender for Sembawang contract closes.

171(24),853(16),854(28),855(19) & 857(21) total of 108 buses should be able to park at Amdep together with spare b uses after the last transition.
169,856,858,963,965,966 continue to park at Woodlands Bus Park,Sembawang-Yishun service at Sembawang Interchange.

The contract stated that Seletar Package consists of service...
Ang Mo Kio Int
24,130,133,135,138,261,262 & 269
Yio Chu Kang Int
70/M,71,76,162/M
Yishun Int
800,803,804,805,806,807,811,812
851,852 & 860.
Ang Mo Kio Depot
265,268
850E
So indirectly Amdep and Sedep is interchangeable.

SBST or SMRT AMDEP?

Obviously SBST
So AMDEP and SEDEP are like Canning Vale and Southern River. 2 depots in 2 separate contract areas run by the same operator.
Can anyone tell me how you check for new bus chassis numbers please?
I used to use the LTA website but you now need to categorise the company or need a company id. Can you still use LTA website and does any body know how to check?
Thanks
