SMRT used to practice change shift at other point during Sundays and PHs and I believe they have since stopped after the single depot control enforce.The only adjustment they make is to make longer breaks and mealbreaks at other point.

I only knew that the diesel engine use 6.7L 280hp/1050nm Euro 6.I am not sure the output of the batteries combined.
Enviro 500 hybrid was purchased by some HK operators recently and quite successful. Maybe LTA can consider this model when euro 6 requirement starts on next year.

HK one using the 6.7L Euro V 280hp/1050nm for its diesel engine and not too sure how much power does the battery produce.
Singapore should opt for the Euro 6 6.7L with 320hp/1350nm for the diesel engine and the battery should at least produce 50hp/400nm given our tropical climate and the notorious 1st and 2nd gear speed restriction by LTA.
