Also, do you think they will operate new bus models, like the new ADL Enviro 500 buses that were recently delivered to Singapore?
The new buses may be destined for the new Seletar Depot, and not to the other depots.

Anyone notice that Sungei Serangoon Park connector(TPE towards Punggol)forested area have been cleared?
If 222 is considered a townlink, why not 325 and 381?

Could just be for more BTO.
222 goes in 2 ways = townlink

If follow BCM,They ought to be sprayed into Lush green like what TTS and GAS done.
Who knows those SMRT SG Citaros and B9TLs they're interested instead of Enviro500,A22 and A95.You must remember that they're bidding is the lowest so no point forking out a sum of money to buy Cummins and MAN spare parts.

325 and 381 also go in 2 ways, but are not considered townlinks.

Under BCM there is no more Townlinks or Intratowns bro..Even 308 is feeder where we thought it might be intratown following 307 way..They can use 303 but they refused
84 ought to renumbered as 384.No point of trunk status..Off peak can maintain 2 buses,Peak hours 3-4 buses including weekendsÂ
bro what I am saying is that it goes in 2 big loops around a certain area. 325 & 381 have a big loop and a small loop, whereas routes like 222 & 293 make 2 big loops, although this would have been in the past
ic, cos I saw 1 of them inside (SMB141L)

Wldep troubleshooting all bus model that SMRT have in their stable..They can also maintain OCs but suprising they don't want.
Wldep is the one who could take some Citaros or OCs.
Amdep should have only maintained A22,OCs,E500 and A95
Kjdep also should follow Wldep step..Most of thier technicians are from SBST.

Yup I agree, svc 386 also has similar frequency as svc 84 but is classed as a feeder so svc 84 should be renumbered and thus free up a new route number for another service instead ...

Problem is rostering..84,381,382 & 386 all interlining..When finish 381 anb behind schedule, have to jump bus to do 386..That's when the problem start
Is SMB115M 172 perm?
What would it take for the really old long buses to be scrapped and replaced? Some of them have an unpleasant smell.

Two years. Three years, tops.
for those olympians retiring on 28 june, will they still be on service on 16 june?
I just view a video of the Free Shuttle Bus Ride during the 2nd June delay... The BOCC of CCK seems very rude to the driver of the shuttle bus...
Whilst the shuttle bus was directed by Yishun side, why aren't they communicating with each other on which buses are used for the shuttle? No wonder the shuttle need to wait for very long for a response time...
Point noted,
1) The driver doesn't know where is Yew Tee MRT
2) The driver cannot speak English
3) Doesn't training brings the drivers around Singapore to know where is the drop off/pick up shuttle points? (Sembawang one how come is at the bus stop instead of the interchange?)

Not all BOCC is friendly, educated enough...Some even resort to use threatening words
