I remember it was once under renovation and services there were relocated to other berths. No idea why it is still not in use after construction was done...

What happen to the Mark guy who is/was supposedly the admin of BIS? Now their posts just antagonize other pages and don't post original stuff anymore like they used to..

I think its because they didn't want too many buses turning in from that way so as to prevent jam between terminating buses that turn in from alighting berth. Also, I notice the berth is often used by BCs for short layovers b4 continiung their next trip...

Grassland between ARBP and AYE might allow for some sort of expansion, although it's just my two cents worth.
Is the Volvo D9B 360hp/1600nm Euro V can be fitted into double decker?

No wonder I saw a huge patch of land beside the BusPark..Hope LTA can consider expand it.Bukit batok depot can handover to SMRT.
When SMRT deployments state "rotating duties" - what does this exactly mean?
Buses operate in random slots
Now that KJDEP got so many spare B9TL why they don't deploy on svc 176 to replace the 3 A24?That 3 WAB bendies can go back to WLDEP to beef up their feeder WAB status mah..188 another clown,Put 2 A24 also? Can just remain spare for CCK feeders mah.

It should be able to, its the same engine anyway, just requires a change in ECU to the appropriate power setting, for a fee.

Thats why i read somewhere in HK B9TL page that there's option for 360hp engine as well..Margin is so great that everyone chose the 310hp instead.

Concerning service 180, who here:
Prefers a mixed fleet of Rigid Single-Deckers, Articulated and Double-Decker?
Or a full Double-Decker fleet consisting of B9TLs from SBST?
Do state your choice and reason. I just want to understand public opinion.

Generally 180 has moderate to high demand throughout the day, best not to put rigids. Bendies can board and alight faster esp at Bt Panjang, but cause jam at the temp bus stop beside the lrt, although situation shld improve when bus int opens. DDs still ok now since mostly long distance travellers, but likely to have more boarding/alighting along bt batok in future when the new flats are ready.
My preference: 3 door DD >> bendy >> B9TL >> mixed fleet (messy + cause bunching)

In general,180 do have quite of number of long distance travellers so its best full DDs with B9TL/E500 & a couple of A95.
