Heard there will be another exit.
Speaking of interchange expansions, the relocated New Bridge Rd Terminal seems to be quite far from NEL Outram Park and may cause a few inconveniences due to needing to transfer. To commuters like me especially as I utilize 120 to transfer to NEL.

Hi mr seveneighteightsix, although I am not sure of your initial location, I suggest you take service 120 drop off at telok blangah mrt take circle line mrt 1 stop to harbourfront mrt. This will solve your problem of walking to outram park mrt. Cheers. Thanks.

I reside along the later stretch of 120 approaching Jalan Bukit Merah so it is closer than Telok Blangah MRT and besides, the terminal's proximity to NEL Outram Park is easily walkable after alighting. Also, purely speculation, there could be an Outram Park ITH in the far future bulit on top of TEL that may house future bus svcs originating from NBR.

Hi mr seveneighteightsix, you can take 197, 961 to Clarke quay mrt station and avoid the hassle of new bridge road terminal and outram park Mrt area. Cheers. Thanks.

True the new terminal is quite far from Outram Park. I assume you take 120 from Lower Delta road stop to NEL Outram Park.
You may want to walk to the stop along Jalan Bukit Merah as you will get 147, 197 and 961 at pretty good frequency.
If you are closer to Tiong Bahru road, you have the option to take 33, 63, 122, 851.
And if you really hate walking or have leg pain issues, take 120 and transfer to 147, 197, 961. There is usually a bus in that direction every 03 minutes.
Either way you are in quite a good situation.

New Bridge Rd will have a new Terminal near the junction of Kg Bahru Rd.

How many parking bays does YCK interchange have, if you do not include those queuing up for 72B?

10-12 official lots...cant remember.

Just a note about your svc 162 amendment: Cutting back is actually fine because there's svc 853 to cover the missing sectors. I'm not quite sure if there is still space at AMK Int though!
only these 2 years, that sv265/268 become so called high frequency (esp 265 with countless BSEP fleet add). in 2013, the frequency for 265/268 is similar to sv76...

The new Bt Panjang bus int looks nearly ready, along with the Hillion Mall/Residences development. There would be 2 entrances/exits for the bus int, one at Jelebu Rd and the other at Petir Rd.

Sure - didn't suggest it as it is still some walk to OTP, when 147, 197, 961 just stop outside.

Thanks for the pics.
Expect 972 to get v good loading from interchange but people will miss the transfer opportunity at Bukit Panjang Road as 972 gets a good 25-30 pax per bus during PM peak who transfer from WDL/CCK/UBT services to go to ring road.

Thanks for the pics. Cant wait for it man, IMO i find it a hassle to travel in BPJ area coz of all the crazy construction and staggered bus stops which i find it confusing, not sure if im sharing the same view for those of you guys living in BPJ? Pretty sure with the ITH ready it would be much better :)

Oh yes! I think for people using the services regularly they get used to the staggered bus stops. But for anyone new to the area, it is a big problem.

With no short term plans for the area around the temp interchange at the moment, and very limited bus parking spaces in the new one, I think the opportunity is still there to terminate 1 or 2 of the services at the temp bus park (may be renamed to a terminal) instead of the new one.

Hi mr gekpohboy, I thought Bukit panjang services operate revenue service from 1st bus stop all around Bukit panjang? They have no temp interchange at this moment. Just a temp bus park for parking buses. Then they move on to the first bus stop to pick up paying passengers. Cheers. Thanks.

I know right?
The new bus interchange has only 24 parking lots.
Yet, there are 14 bus services: 75, 176, 184, 700, 700A, 920, 922, 970, 971E, 972, 975, 979, 979M from temporary bus park, and 180 which also used the original interchange.
Unless, they remove 2 services (979M and maybe 180), so that each service has 2 parking lots.
But even then, the bus interchange would be rather congested during peak hours. :(

Don't inflate the numbers by counting 700A, 971E and 979M. 180 route is short and given Boon Lay has space and with Tuas MRT coming up and some services shifting there, 180 can continue to be Boon Lay <> BPJ loop service.

Well, without counting 700A, 971E and 979M, there are actually 11 bus services.
There is actually space for 1 new bus service at Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange, even if we do not remove 180.
971e is a standalone service. the other 2 are variants of a parent service.
Will BPJ ITH be bendy-friendly?
