The construction have been speed up to finish a part of the area to park around at least 100 buses. They are also rushing to complete the entrance at lentor ave as well.
Most likely they will reduce the no of buses parked at LYDEP/BUDEP.
Alternatively, LTA Might be using it to park those cold storage buses. But best bet is still being used by SMRT.
Tuas MRT depot will be opened this year, with a bus terminal on roof top, which will be locked after operation hours. Expect this to be used as additional parking space for SMRT, most likely for 180.

No,Wldep feeders will park there😂Why the hell 180 want to park there when they can just use Bulim? They can anytime put back 302 back at CCBP.

Mandai Depot will be exclusively for some of Woodlands / Sembawang / rest of Yishun and Woodlands (161).

Good lor. People who are on a school camp (polytechnic/university) can also use Tuas Bus Terminal/Tuas Depot to sleep overnight from 11.30pm to 7.30am.

No, I meant Tuas MRT depot. It will have a bus terminal on roof.

Tuas MRT depot only got a small bus terminal and why would SMRT buses park there when its operated by SBST?

Mandai depot will be for Sembawang and the remaining Yishun service plus a bit of Woodlands east/Central bound svc like 167,169,853,854,855,856,857,961,965,966 & 969.Woodlands Depot will stay and might get refurbished.Kranji might get a new depot in future to cater CCK and BPJ.LTA objective is to reduce overnight parking at Interchanges.

I hope SMRT win Mandai,Bedok and Bt Merah. So no need to park at other operator depots
When the new Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange opens, SMRT can use the Bukit Panjang temporary bus park to park buses.
Actually, considering SBS Transit (East) now operates 24 less routes, LTA can consider transferring SBS Transit's Changi bus park to SMRT.

Then have to go back Amdep refuel,Bus wash and come back all the way to Koh Sek Lim Rd?Loyang/Bulim have all that benefits minus heavy maintenance.

The MRT depot is operated by SMRT.

so? u alway have those funny/weird thinking.... the terminal will be used by SBST.. why dun u say SMRT should park at the old Tuas Terminal?
I was wondering, even if SMRT uses Tuas terminal to do ONP there, which service would even be the best to park there?

The news say the tuas extension will only open 2Q2017 (delay lor zzzzzz) but will the new tuas bus ter be delayed too? I think so too right??
Well, safety first. In engineering, integrity is very important. Must follow procedures and take precautions. I am glad they are honest. :)

I don't really see the need for SMRT to win Bedok and BM where especially for Bedok, AM is more of a 'neutral' location and LY is the nearest whereas slots to BM I believe there is a downroute slot to Marymount/Upp Thomson starting from AM to BM though.
Mandai wise I don't see any benefits except for services that has downroutes at BPJ (171 187 190 960 etc)
I would like to see this
SBST:Jurong,Woodlands,Bishan/Toa Payoh,Tampines,Yishun/Sembawang.
SMRT:Ulu Pandan,Mandai & Loyang.
TTS:Bulim & Bedok.
National Express:Seletar & Bt Merah
Kumho:Serangoon/Eunos & CCK/BPJ
Bye2 to that particular company.

BCM doesn't care about location,Svc or BC welfare as far as I'm concerned.
