Yup, really shitty when the ter and MRT station r not tgt. Dk why name them the same when both amenities r not within close dist. I rly would agree to call it NUS bus ter lol but wellz...

In 🇸🇬 Public Transport wherever a 🚌 station near or beside MRT Station with the exception of Bt Merah,Its called Interchange.Bt Merah should be called Terminal instead. That's why you see why small bus stations like Harbourfront,Yio Chu Kang is called Interchange and not Terminal.

But shld Kent Ridge be even located with the MRT? I feel quite annoyed by these. Take New Bridge Road as eg. It is like right outside one of the Outram Park MRT exits and it is not named along with it.
A more trivial one would be Promenade MRT and its close vincity with Marina Centre Bus Ter

New Bridge Rd will shift further near to slip of Kg Bahru Rd later which is much far to the MRT.In future there is Marina South ITH

Because Kent Ridge Terminal is way older than the MRT.
If you want so details then Rochor Terminal should be renamed Ban San St Terminal.
Boon Lay also renamed as Jurong West Int,Buona Vista should renamed as Holland Dr terminal..St Mikes also change to Whampoa Terminal..happy?

Ask Mr SMB145B.
What?
I have no sources yet but it is really odd to have two sengkang ints

Tampines new bus interchange is Tampines Concourse bus int. So why not for the expansion of sengkang bus int?

Is the expansion of Tampines interchange called Tampines Concourse interchange?
I do feel it is necessary to call them differently for people to know where the bus will originate and terminate.
If Tampines Interchange (Expansion) is going to be called Tampines Concourse Interchange, then Sengkang Interchange (Expansion) can be called Sengkang Compassvale Interchange as it is along Compassvale Road.
