Anyone can post pics of completed Sengkang expansion?
The one at Tampines is also steadily ramping up for a Q4 opening.
Anyone going down to Pasir Ris on the 18 Sept? Go Ahead operator taking over!

There is a major design issue in the queues at Tampines Interchange due to which the people in the queue seem more inflated than they are.
I observed the queues for 291/69 berth as well as 72, and there are so many places in the queue, where there is either a pillar or chains. No one waits there. They keep a space of 5 people and then stand. This causes snaking queues and one may think that the queue has 50-60 people but in reality has only around 30-35 people.
Need to change the queue structure at Tampines to reduce this notion of "long" queues.
woodlands temporary interchange lots of stairs. q inconvenient for old people
In fact many new Int all cannot make it awaiting accidents to happen..If they got plan to add more svc why built a tiny Int?Joo Koon i can understand

But then WTI building lifts there mah..
CCK temporary interchange will be in operation in 2018. The current interchange will be demolished to make way for a new integrated hub.
Not sure how they going to integrate? Maybe that block of shop will be gone as well.

Should be empty land right beside cck int and in front of lot 1. But it'll definitely create more prob cos its smaller... (Temp int)
Good luck to bc then

I dunno whether is it visible to be an end on temp interchange... Since space constrain...

Actually I find that land bigger than the current int, just curious how buses gonna survive with the small road beside..

By then Bt Panjang ITH would be ready, so (probably) some services can be amended to start from there for that time being. Such as 925, 927, 983. Bt Batok is likewise possible for these services but would probably be too far.

That piece of land (behind lot 1) is bigger.

There is a notice on top of the page. In the notice it says:
For yet to be tendered out packages, the main depot listed below is the current depot in charge of the general area. This does not reflect the actual operating depot for certain services, especially if the operator has multiple packages. |
I was hoping that they would undertake CCK Interchange expansion just like Sengkang / Tampines using the block of land on the other side of MRT/Interchange.
It would have also been good because services going to CCK Dr could just enter and exit from there like 172, 190, 308, 985 leaving more space at current CCK Interchange for services towards Keat Hong/CCK Way.

For now its quite impossible to have single depot for long distance svc.

They should make permanent int at the land beside lot one.. Can integrate

I would see maybe service 172 looping around CCK instead of terminating there. The rest of the services in my opinion are long distance services which require service captains to take a break.
If possible to intergrate some of the feeder services then it should solve the congestion in CCK int itself.

60, 63/63M, 94, 150, 154 gone back to HGDEP, together with 87 because these are Eunos-bound.
Anyway Changi Bus Park closing down in 2019/2020 to make way for East Coast Integrated Depot. The Loyang Bus Depot that was rented to SMRT will be used for SBST back then. Mandai Depot will probably replace SMRT's AMDEP, that will have enough space.
Passed by Tampines today, the int expansion looks almost done. Anyone has any idea what services will move there? Seems like quite a distance from Tampines MRT.
