SBS3004X in case you dont know,Here i give you the list of the depot capacity which more or less is accurate.
SBST Soon Lee Depot:Allocate 525 lots and 550 maximum squeeze.
SBST Bukit Batok Depot:Allocate 300 lots and 330 max.
SBST Ayer Rajah Bus Park:Allocate 180 lots and 200 max.
SBST Braddell Bus Park:Allocate to SBST 265 lots and 285 max.
SBST Ang Mo Kio Depot:Allocate 530 lots and 565 max.
SBST Bedok North Depot:Allocate 510 lots and 545 max.
SBST Changi Bus Park:Allocate 250 lots and no idea for max.
SBST Hougang Depot:Allocate 540 lots and around 570 if maximise.
SMRT Woodlands Depot:Allocate to SMRTB 305 lots and 340 if max.
SMRT Woodlands Bus Park:Allocate 250 lots and around 275 max.
SMRT Kranji Depot:Allocate 230 lots and 290 maximise.
SMRT Ang Mo Kio Depot:Allocate 172 lots and 196 maximise.
Go Ahead Loyang Depot:Allocate 500 lots and i see potential of another 40 if max.
Tower Transit Bulim Depot:Allocate 500 lots and i predict another 40-50 if max.
Now you know why some buses do overnight parking at Interchanges and terminals right?SMRT even worse,Use part of Bulim for Kjdep and Loyang for Amdep/Wldep.

Then you think Bndep can handle all the Bedok,Eunos,Tampines,Changi Business Park and Upp East Coast buses?

I was thinking that Changi Airport T2 can be a proper layover for service 34 & 36.The current office has to shift on the left side and 6 parking lots for svc 34 & 36 terminating there. For non stop,Svc 34 & 36 can proceed to the new berth the far left.Service 34/36 which terminate at T2 must display 34T/36T respectively.
Hmm like that can introduce 2 more services enter there. But its easier to number them as 34A/36A

36A already have that terminate at Tomlinson Rd.

wait 36 already terminates at CGA.
Terminate in parking and switching off the engine

3 for svc 36. would this mean that pax will have to alight at T3/T1 and no longer be allowed to head toward T2 and beyond?
the good thing is SLs will have proper meals before going off. the incoming operator will not have to rely on jumpbus.

They have to see their timecard,If stated 36T before T3 then they have to switch the eds to Terminating at Terminal 2.If not,Resume as per normal.Priority for buses having longer tea breaks, mealbreaks and changing shift and the buses can switch off the engine too.
If BBDEP dumps 10 DM3500s, there should be enough space. Replacement will be capacity upgrade to DD. For services like 16, use existing spare buses or upgrade other services like 7 and 147, then transfer the SDs to 16.
IDK if upgrades for 151 would be a waste of resources.

Simple,If Arbp wanna a bit of space then svc 16 & 48 give half to Bndep lor.57 also can give back the duties to Amdep. If you dump 10 SDs and take back 10 DDs,Wouldnt that be the same again?

Didn't see this coming. But location seems okay. Hopefully bigger to accommodate more services.
Also another terminal/interchange that won't be connected to MRT (anymore).

unsure if the bus-stop outside the terminal will be affected or not.
if that bus-stop decides to close, the NBR services must call at the one after it (outside outram mrt) as a replacement, apart from the bus-stop before terminal & the one before it (the "curved" bus-stop opposite that prata shop)

I'm curious if the new terminal will retain its name or will it be renamed to "Kampong Bahru Bus Terminal" since it will no longer be located along New Bridge Road. The new terminal can also benefit Jalan Bukit Merah residents provided it allows boarding and alighting.

The location is not really next to any of the huge residential hubs of Jalan Bukit Merah - so I expect it will just be a terminal with no boarding/alighting.
Valid point: It could be renamed to Kampong Bahru Terminal.

Hi mr azharjj, I will say the location is a bit off but then not much of a choice as land is limited in Singapore. Cheers. Thanks.
At least from the image, the new bus terminal looks to be 2x approx. of current terminal.
Currently, all the bus routes at New Bridge Road Bus Terminal ply to Outram Park and/or Chinatown side. It is only going to be an extension of routes to the new New Bridge Road Bus terminal.
It is interesting to know that despite the name, the current New Bridge Road Bus Terminal is along Eu Tong Sen Road, not New Bridge Road. As such, even when operations relocate to Kampong Bahru Road, it would probably continue to be called "New Bridge Road Bus Terminal".
Originally posted by iveco:Maybe that could be where the missing NE2 train station might be built too. Most appropriate name should be St Teresa’s ITH, after the nearby Catholic church.
Pointless to have NE2 at this stage at the proposed location as there is NO major development around (yet).

Better to retain the name as New Bridge Road Bus Terminal
