Any chance SBST would better improve its HGDEP services after the handover of the 14 svcs?

Hi mr sbst191, I think SBST is doing quite a good job overall. The handover is being forced which they have no control. Cheers. Thanks.

because HGDEP is much nearer to Punggol/Sengkang..
Actually 136 should just stick to single control AMDEP

I still think improvements on some bus services can be done.. And also not to mention the maintenance of the KUBs... now they have lesser buses to maintain for i hope they can focus more already

LTA mah...Lydep should control part of Tampines Int beside Pasir Ris,Changi V and Airport not Punggol. The worst part is 136,What diff does it make when only 1 Amdep goes to Lydep? But i feel this is just temporary till Tampines North Ith is ready and there is a new depot along Northeast corridor. When Tengah new town is ready LTA will shuffle Budep control for J East and Clementi too.Budep in fact should control part of Boon Lay service like 30,154,157 or even 174 rather than Clementi which Ulu Pandan can manage it.

Whole forested area? I think it is a former military training area. Slowly removing one by one, from Seletar, all the way to the central area. Sooner they will build a cemetery and crematorium at the former military protected area in the Seletar.

Singapore no space for cemeteries already, thats why they are building more crematoriums.. However cemeteries will still be preserved for specific religions that do not allow cremation.

Seletar depot will have two access roads leading to Lentor Ave just before SLE and another to Yio Chu Kang Rd opp Apple.Go Yishun/Woodlands/Sembawang use Lentor and AMK/YCK/BDK whatsoever use YCK Rd.
i dunno whether u guys know this but i just post anyway
that bulim ave junction has finally opened. now can go straight from corporation rd and vice versa & turn right from jurong west ave 2

Yeah saw on 174 two days ago... Surprisingly 174 can still turn right from Corporation Rd to Jurong West Ave 2 without skipping the bus stop
There have been some minor upgrading works going on at Bt Batok interchange, but at the end of the day it seems unlikely to be converted into an air-con facility or even an ITH -- and there isn't really space to house a temporary interchange near the current one.
How is the new Woodlands interchange doing?

Lydep also near to Tampines Int rather than Punggol and i dont understand why LTA must include svc 136 also.

Seriously most BCs still miss the old interchange,Though its busy but still can find parking lots..Now quite chaos during peak timings.

109 better. 136 can go full HG and 21 majority BN if 109 goes under Loyang contract.
As for Bulim, it is better they take in 105 and leave the CLE feeders.
Hoardings are in place around bestway building (iirc the building name correctly), possibly in preparation of construction of the relocated Shenton Way terminal.

To free up space in HGDEP?

If to free up space LTA should built depot near Buangkok(Near Tampines Rd) for Punggol,Sengkang and Buangkok. This Loyang kill 2 birds with one stone.Punggol service like 3,34,43,62,118 and feeders does make sense cause all going towards East side. But in future East side definately need another bus depot beside Changi and i predict Loyang will take over Tampines North and part of Tampines Int svc once a new Northeast depot is built.
Effective 28/3,Part of Amdep 61 buses now ONP at Lor 1 Geylang.
Spotted SMB35K,1424P,1431T,1455A,1457U & 1458S @ 0300hrs.
As mention before iirc, there will be a Kim Chuan Intergrated Depot correct?
Under Construction:
- Mandai Depot
- Sungei Seletar Depot
Ready Built:
- Loyang Depot
- Bulim Depot
In Planning:
- Ulu Pandan Depot
- Kim Chuan Intergrated Depot
- Changi Multi-Tier Intergrated Depot
