But still, taxi stand at Lot1 or parking slot ought to have some improvements. The traffic junction is terrible...wonder what LTA is doing..
CCK Ave 4 forever jam during peak hours and weekends...the worst case happened before was buses encounter jam while coming out of int, and jam again while on Ave 4, and were already 20 minutes late upon clearing the jam at Ave 4...
Cars going into the Lot One carpark mostly dont give way to buses, occupying the yellow box...causing buses to be unable to go into or out of the bus bay. Buses have to go to the extent of picking up pax at outermost lanes. LTA officer come, traffic good, LTA officer gone, back to square one...

I know which land u talking about as i live in CCK. That land is good but rumoured will be used to extend Lot One. Hopefully below the potential Lot One extension will be the new CCK INT like Boon Lay.. but before that, they ought to expand CCK Loop as having the entrance/exit at CCK Drive is highly unlikely...

My proposal is: they use bit of the land on the east of MRT... and make it the interchange extension for services 172, 190, 985 that exit to CCK Dr... They can enter and exit from there reducing the jam at interchange as well as the huge traffic along CCK Ave 4 junction/Lot 1.
The existing interchange in future can be used for more services. For instance, sv 700 that will go via Keat Hong, BPJ to city and sv 305 that will play CCK Grove and CCK Ave 7 next year.

Deploying on services like 854? Moreover, it's 1 unit only. Same goes for 812...at first it was alright..but in the end, it only get 1 unit. Like what's the point? If they need bendy buses, they could just exchange with WLDEP since WLDEP need A24s also..
I doubt they will even put DD, plus it's not feasible.
I agree. They have totally screwed it up. 1 bus for 854, 1 bus for 964, 1 bus for 180 etc. They started systematically with 804, 811 but then just got lost in the way. I was expecting more A24s on 911 that seriously need it and also slowly adding on 300, 302 and 806 to make them WAB asap.

They will just need another traffic light at CCK Loop. Currently the buses are turning in and out of CCK Loop itself from interchange. Just that if the extension is built all CCK Dr bound services will enter/exit at the extension... while those towards CCK Way / Ave 4 will use the current interchange.
Similar to Boon Lay, where you have two sides of interchange and buses enter/exit in discipline manner, reducing congestion!

Training on these two routes is spotted numerous of times but in the end the A24 was only deployed on svc like 964,Chey

Soon i believe, since SMB8017K is likely to perm 971E replacing TIB902E...
Yesterday, the BC on TRG looks like he was from the 964 team...

Hahah, preparing for the future mah. 18 years of lifespan and possibly more, never say never to Bendies appearing on 858 someday
Haha,Minority of the BCs still prefer driving bendy buses for feeders and short trunks like 860,964 etc..Majority prefer DDs for long distance.KJDEP DD BCs loves the A95 for the acceleration and overtaking. But a handful of the Enviros still can perform as good as the A95s..Handful of 188 & 190 ones which is non BSEP.BSEP ones all jialat!Be it SBST or SMRT ones,All lock to 61kmh only..Overtaking is a painful in the ass experience. Many KJDEP and AMDEP dislikes driving Citaros,The 1st gear is non existent especially during full loads. They loves the A22s for the performance.OC500LEs is great to drive and had no problem hauling full loads but braking is just another terrible experience.
I realize many feeder BCs now drive Trunk DD routes. Example is 3529H PM SL is ex 1183G PM SL while the AM is ex 1193C AM SL. Ex 912 driver is currently driving PM 3567Y. Ex 913 S1 driver is driving 5009D now. I think there are more in the list where feeder drivers are converting to Trunk DD SL

For CCK, most 307 BC went to learn to drive bendy and went over to 300. Service 300 and 302 BC went to learn DD and will rotate between 300, 302 and 983. Service 307 is now given to new BC who just join into SMRT...

I'm starting to think that if can order additional A95, anything is possible. Further bendy purchases might actually be possible now.

the happiest day when 858 bendy appear haha

It seems 858 is back to square one again... Looking at the small path that the rigids use to make a detour during the maintenance of security barriers, it's almost 100% impossible for the A24 to do so...
By TIB429E:
SMB8018H debut on 900, likely replacing TIB904A...
SMB8028D OS heading towards WRI direction...

You know, they should just put 904A on 858 on one fine day in the next few weeks, and then let it run to see how it goes.
Because if anything happens (like it crashes while in the CGA right), it's not that big of a problem for the depot compared to crashing a MAN Bendy.

8018H - 900AP02 from some bus fans...look out for 901..can cameo anytime.
8028D, at that time, was on "delivery" to KJDEP, it debut on 190.
8027G was spotted at BNL, likely KJ? (From some bus fans)
some comments on the a24s in general:
horrible suspension, it feels like your ass is dropped onto the road whenever the bus goes over a hump.
the bus is really stiff as a whole, especially the joint. the bus doesn't bounce naturally like O405Gs.
the acceleration leaves much to be desired too. 360hp and 1800nm of nothing if the tuning is terrible. the voith transmission that is fitted does not help it either. the o405gs still have superior acceleration and comfort as a whole.
side note: i rode some a24 that was on 811 just now and the telematics was beeping all the way and the symbol for swaying as flickering
