Isnt it good? but it is different apart from the fact that it serves St,.Wilfred that should have got bus service already long time back.
Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:3 extra?? if you really count the # of spare buses... u will know that not all BSEP buses are on road... almost 25% are still in depots..
so are we counting and measuring with number of buses on roads or in depots????
Please note that spare buses are defined as those already doing bus services on the roads but with no fixed deployments...Buses that has never been out on the roads cannot be defined as spare at all!

Provided that the residents of St Wilfred co-operate by parking at their designated lots and not park near the road and block the bus to enter/exit St Wilfred's. Take 317 for instance sometimes those rich car owners dont bother to move their vehicle then the bus will be stuck there.. For bus svcs to operate in these kinds of private estates residents must be willing to co-operate with sbs transit
U think those rich ppl cares?Yesterday saw a Lambo purposely park at Changi Village and even challenged the SBST BCs to take his car pic while he and his gf busy eating
Arrived Clementi Stn and was about to try 201...waited for 2mins then checked Iris..
Next Bus : 16mins [With red square box]
Sub Bus : 21mins
Totally unacceptable...supposed-to-be first time trying 201..but it's dissapointing. From Clementi Stn, front bus is already at West Coast Plaza towards Kent Ridge..which means to say there's a big gap of more than 15mins(as stated on the table).
It's ard 12:30pm..and by the time 201 arrives, 2x 189s have come. Not that I am a complain king, but it jams around noon-time? Quite shocking..
But really or not 201 another 21mins?Sometimes IRIS cock up
Originally posted by carbikebus:But really or not 201 another 21mins?Sometimes IRIS cock up
True. That time i saw 403 18mins suddenly it came in 4 mins
Not very sure..but I went to take svc282 instead.
Didn't see any svc201 bus(towards Kent Ridge) during my journey..maybe missed 1 or totally none..
Anyway, so far base on my experience on iris..all the timing are shown exactly the situation.
Jialat
Nowadays screw up one. That day 222 next bus 5 mins sub bus in 29 mins, both come within 10 mins
Just now Svc 966-3 A22s and 2 E500s all travelling like a train 1-2 mins apart at Jln Eunos towards Wlds,A lot of either empty or half filled,So much for Bsep

Sometimes 7 buses within 5 mins...
Wasted of resources..For a loop service with 25 buses its such a waste!Should just give one of the DD to 187
Nevertheless..waiting for a BSEP svc feels "longer" than those usual ones.
But I can say that this svc201 was quite a disappointment..pass by Clementi station almost everyday, hardly sees the svc201 buses. So far from the date of release, only less than 5 times.[4 days per week, xclude fri-sun].

Probably can extend a little out. Instead of looping at MP rd, can turn to Amber Rd, Mountbatten Rd, Tanjong Katong Rd South, ECP(new bus stop+overhead bridge to go EastCoast Park) and exit from Still Rd.
Alot of instances i saw 4-5 bus 53 bunching and passing by serangoon central all few pax inside
101 and 112 also keep on bunching like nobody's business
Originally posted by SBS3688Y:do u think a new BSEP feeder be intro to share the load of sv238? is the current sv238 the merger of the old sv237 & 238?
The old 237 merged with 232, which got extended to Lor 7 from Lor 2 when the aircon TPY Int opened.
Might need a svc from St mikes via 238 routes then loop around TPY

We cant generalize. We need better enforcement of civil manners.

Don't always trust iris. I stopped using it... coz I would always miss my bus... show 10 mins and bus already came in 5 mins... I use the smsing thing... works more accurately.

I think 7 buses is less for the route... I expected at least 8.. but considering it is BSEP... thought will give it 9 buses... but maybe we will see bus add soon.

101 needs more DDs for sure. AM/PM load getting very high. 112 still doing okay. 53 has got many buses added leading to lot of bunching.

The problem with enforcers that they have no guts dealing with rich ppl like this..
From Lee Bee Wah's Facebook post
"Following my recent meeting with LTA, I had received good news from LTA......Thanks to LTA!
Current: Bus 811, 806, 804 – PM peak period is between 5.15pm to 7.15pm
My suggestion: To extend the PM peak period to 8.15pm instead.
w.e.f 15 Dec
- There will be an additional bus added to service 804, 806 and 811.
- In order to align to the late PM peak period, operating hours for PPSS 811P will be shifted to a later timing (6.00pm - 8.00pm) upon its launch.
Additional bus info, also wef 15 Dec:
- There will be 2 buses and additional trips added to service 969
- Additional trips will be added to 169
- 1 single deck bus will be converted to a double-deck for service 850E"
Suspected:
Added BSEP buses likely to be on:
Feeder 804: SMB3020H / SMB3013D
Feeder 806: Unknown
Intra-Town 811: SMB3056E
Additional trips on 169 / 969:
169: SMB3007Y (902 x 169)
969: Likely to be 850ES194 crossover
Upgrade fleet on 850E:
850ES194 to Enviro500, whereby the additional BSEP bus on Feeder 804 covers SMB3076Y slot.
