Jurong Gateway Rd (1 stop near bridge of hospital just before signal)

That time 8609T went out last year, 6678G 6679D went in. After which 6409S went in. So if I don't count 6409S in, means either 6678G or 6679D was a fleet add while the other replaced 8609T uh.
So I still think 8972T is the replacement for 8161S. Because I didn't see any consistent possible KUBs on Sv 53 after 8161S somehow disappeared and appeared on Sv 135, until 8972T got kicked out from Sv 138 & then perm 53 with the stix.
So I'm thinking that Sv 53 still has a missing fleet add somewhere..and IMO should be a KUB. Just need to find out which.

Unlikely, the news report included comments from Moulmein-Kallang GRC MP regarding the said Kallang service. Haig Rd does not fall within the boundaries of Moulmein-Kallang. I might be wrong though, sometimes news article can be misleading.

So I was right... the bukit batok service is in bukit gambok area. Good decision to improve connectivity here. Cheers!

check through press release, no fleet add from SBST side during the period that 6678/6679 went in.. and 6401/6409 went in to sv53 in short span as well.so dun think SBST will add another bus that time.. i remember last year, i did see 8161 running around, for a certain period, it keep doing sv138 as well..
8161 been doing sv53 earlier this year, most likely is replacing some of the perm bus which are MIA...

All, where do you think which of the 5 areas announced will be the first to implement the new service? Since it is by year end, it will be announced pretty soon. 2 this month, 1 next month and 2 in December? I am so excited. Cheers.

But seems like all of them are going to be super short routes.
i think West Coast and Bukit Batok will go first.

43 (SBS5156C) loading off peak crazy...
There were at least 70-80 pax squeezing as the bus went through Yio Chu Kang Rd.
Most passengers alighted at Buangkok Green (The bus reached Buangkok Green at about 1.50 pm).

43 should have full fleet DDs and additional 30 buses because the whole route demand very high, even higher than 190 and 972 ~ from punggol int full until upp east coast no one can board for the whole day~ 1st bus alr full

already more than enough... also all these are DD services... so ppl dont have issues boarding and almost 90% times everyone gets place to sit.
But the BTO blocks at Penjuru have only sv 30 in one direction that too without MRT connection. So a service from JE doing Teban Crescent and Penjuru could still make sense and go back to JE via Teban Gardens.
I still don't get the point of 143M. Such a redundant service, totally not needed.

43 extra 35 buses,then off peak even kubs cant have full loads all the time...
