don't think so, the depot has many of the low lying shades.
has it been this way since the 70s when SBS is holding to this part of the depot.

Yep, Admiralty Road East...

Then need more OCs (like 8-9) if you have them on 800, because I think 800 does has quite heavy loading and the frequency not very good...

Currently not, but as per the press release, SMRT is committed to upgrade its depot infrastructure to accommodate DDs.

I have observed 800 bendies with very low loading. The max loading is between ave 2 and ave 9 on ring road. Along Yishun ring road (west side of ave 2), people naturally prefer 812 to go to Yishun MRT.
812 should be getting 1-2 more bendy adds for sure. 804 needs bendy add as well. 800 can give its bendies to these services and manage with MANs.
For the stops on ring road between ave 2 & ave 9 can have a SWT with one bus to cater to loading. This way bendies can be better utilized on other services that need it more.

according to BA, 800 is to supplement 802 and 804. about 6 OCs will be transferred to 800 from 851. 7 E50D will go into 851 under WLDEP instead of AMDEP. 1 or 2 Taros may also enter 800 during peak periods. 2 SP OCs and 1 SP E50D will do 806 as crossover.

whats BA?
46 97 976 perm 851, not 170 216 217..
Since ADL is going to be under/already undered WLDEP/WLBP control...and ADL requires adblue...will Citaro/OCs return to WLDEP/WLBP?

Amdep cannot upgrade liao unless they move to a new place..To dismantle the roofing takes weeks..and parking lots also limited..Best is to move into new depot which can accomodate 350-450 buses..preferably in Central area
If they want to do it, they can move to YCK road, Lentor, close to Yishun - lot of open space. I doubt they have plans to do it anytime soon.
I think taking out the sheds seems to be the only possibility for now OR transfer all the DD slots to WLDEP.

Yes, removing and replacing the sheds was the case in KJdep. But the fast solution would be to transfer the slots.

I'm quoting this post from a few days ago but anyway:
Did anyone really think that Sv 169 will get DDs? Sv 169 is like the unoffical "Army Express". Go and count the number of army camps & key protected places it passes by. (Khatib Camp, Dieppe Barracks, Nee Soon Camp, Sembawang Air Base, Sembawang Camp, Sembawang Wharves, Sembawang Shipyard).
If they really put DDs on Sv 169, don't you think that the authorities would think that this would allow random people to happily spy into what goes on in the camps because of the elevated height? And in turn pose as a security threat?
I'm not saying that Sv 169 will never get DDs, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon on their priority list.
I do agree that Sv 169 needs much more Bendies though in the fleet at the frequencies they're running now during Peak. The Rigids just can't cope that well unless they're bunched up together.

If you are thinking like that, let me ask something: Did 169 plied these areas during its SBS days? It already has DDs that time and the same thing you mentioned could have applied back then.
