Between 7 and 8am, very common to see two Sv 72 DDs back to back at YCK road towards HG. Likewise PM peak, very common bunching of two Sv 72 DDs towards YCK MRT at YCK road.
Service 307 AM peak quite chaotic...
At Opp CCK MRT stop....
0733hrs (After about 20 mins wait): 3 SVC 307 buses arrive together. In order SMB209B (3/4 full), TIB634D (packed to the door), SMB211T (Fully seated). These 3 buses were later spotted reaching CCK int together in the order SMB211T, SMB209B, TIB634D...
0755hrs (After 22 mins): SMB125J arrive together with SMB213M. Unsure of load as I saw this from a distance..but there were no bus in between from 0733hrs to 0755hrs...
Correct order should be: TIB634D (307E) >> SMB211T (307E) >> SMB209B (307) >> SMB125J (307E) >> SMB213M (307)
Service 302 also had one occurence: TIB873E and TIB1204E spotted entering CCK INT together at around 0825hrs..Both had left CCK INT 1 min apart at around 0750hrs...
Service 28 seems to have bunching issues too. Yesterday was SBS6642J and SBS9422H, and today was SBS9624S and SBS3233B. I've also seen SBS9509S and a Citaro (can't remember which one but it's one of the perm 28 Citaros) bunching on Sundays.
But yesterday was really bad. Strangely enough, a CDGE (probably a BRBP 88 CDGE) was off-service at the bus stop near SPCA. Then it drove off with service 28 on the EDS. Not sure whether to board or not, so didn't. Half an hour later came SBS6642J and SBS9422H... I would later see a CDGE on 28 in the opposite direction. Likely the same bus as the one that was off-service and then with service 28 on the EDS.
Bunching seems to be pretty common though. Considering some bus services have such high loading that they have very large fleets for their route lengths... just didn't think service 28 was that bad.

BC was driving quite fast and caught up with front bus (TIB887R, should be 172S103)...at that time SMB56A is 5 mins ahead of schedule..Both buses were together from Opp Army Logistic Base (BS 30031) to Blk 464 (CCK Ave 3 - BS 44071) stop until TIB887R crossed the traffic light junction while SMB56A stopped there due to red light. Time was between around 720pm--730pm.
2) SERVICE 985: TIB711P bunch with SMB121U at Aft Blk 202 stop (BS 44391)along CCK Drive towards CCK INT. Spotted 740pm...
Saw 3 service 159 Volvo B10Ms (1 Strider and 2 DM3500s) at Toa Payoh in the direction of Sengkang. So weird. Bunching so soon after leaving the interchange.
SERVICE 975: TIB698U bunch with TIB701T at Opp Hai Inn See Tp stop at 1635hrs

sv 325 towards HG Interchange, spotted at HG Ave 10. Both buses empty. First with maybe 10-15 pax, 2nd with 05-06 pax - that's all I could spot.

9 - Medium (especially PM peak at Simei towards Loyang bunching very common)
10 - Medium (PM peak can observe very often bunching towards Tampines on UEC)

11 - Never .. lol
12 - Low (seen very random instances when 2 DDs are together)

15 - High (almost always AM/PM you will see 2 buses together, maybe it is the SD effect)

SBST deploy DD for 45A and SD for 45 in the morning. It should be the other way round.

45A has only one DD running in the AM. There are still 6 other DDs that do sv 45 full route. That is because of the massive loading from first stop of Lor Ah Soo near HG Ave 1 towards Serangoon in AM. 45-50 pax can easily board at just that one stop, and with second stop already bus crosses 70 pax. Makes total sense, buddy!

so sv62 only serve lorong ah soo area? did u ever consider the load at other places?maybe sbst should remove 1 DD and 1 SD from sv62 instead since now ppl are complaining that there are excess capacity...

Hi mr lemon1974, bunching of sbs 62 does not mean that there is excess capacity. Others observed the bunching of 3 buses of sbs 62 at one occasion does not mean anything. It is not because of capacity problem. It is more of a scheduling issue for a looping route. If every person in this forum just happens to see bunching and another calls for removal of buses, the situation will become chaotic and many buses from many services will be withdrawn. Surely that is not the right way!!! Cheers

2. SERVICE 975: TIB704K bunch with TIB967T (975S105) at Lot One stop towards BPJ at 745pm, TIB702R came 3 mins later...
At around 10.07am in this morning, three service 74 buses were spotted bunching along Marymount Road...the order of the buses are 1 Wright, 1 DM3500 and 1 Citaro...

Arbo we tell SBST to dispatch 3 Sv 62 DDs at once from interchange? Since it dosent serve Lorong Ah Soo Only.

Add to it, sv 62 has received no BSEP add or SD --> DD upgrade in last 2 years even though people along Punggol / Sengkang / Hougang area have increased.

As mentioned in other threads about sv62, it is the traffic tt is killing freq of the bus, just this morning, i took SBS9680D, followed closely by SBS3119Z to punggol, lambat...
Whenever i take sv62 and observe b4 i alight, the console always red button...
