I must say that after they developed IBP (and Trade Hub 21), the load's gotten higher...
Next time once Jurong Area is fully developed, all services in Jurong East area (188 inclusive) will receive a boom in ridership!

Then, will be damn jialat liao... Full DD fleet for every service (including 105)!
Today I witnesses 2 sbs bus service no 3 buses bunching from pasir ris drive 1 (outside pasir ris west plaza) all the way until pasir ris st 21 from 8.05am onwards 25-04-2014. The 2 buses were bunching stop to stop. First bus picks up most of passengers at bus stop and 2nd bus picks up a few of those who did not want to board the first bus. From what I see, the way sbs 3 is routed along the roads, the nature of this service makes it extremely prone to bus bunching. Cheers

Hi mr carbikebus, of course you are talking about tampines town which is conferred as the jewel of the east. It is a mature town and furthermore it is one of the major towns as far as east of Singapore is concerned. Moreover, tampines ave 7 is super close to what else? Singapore changi airport! It is one of the roads that leads to the expressway to airport. So it is not surprising to me that you can find high traffic even at wee hours in the night. Cheers.

Hi mr carbikebus, which part of clementi and jurong? For clementi, near mrt area? Commonwealth ave west? Jurong as in jurong east or jurong near Boon Lay leading to those industrial areas? Since you drive car often, where do you think the cars are heading for? Frankly I do not know and I am just trying to analyse the roads.

Yes coz people along CCK have grown.

Also to note IBP, bbt, CCK areas haven't really gotten major upgrades or new services.

Isn't Jurong area fully developed... Which part is still to develop?
Originally posted by carbikebus:Always seen Jurong West/Jurong West extension/Clementi near West Coast..What to do small tiny Island with a target of 6.9million populations..Lucky i got my in law houses in JB to release stress when off days..Even Johor 5x bigger than Sg only got 3.7m
Of course Johor got less population.. Who the hell wants to live in JB.. Please don't even compare the quality of life between Malaysia and Singapore (with all due respect to you cos I know you are Malay)

Dont look down on Johore cause it property will go up in few years time with more developments...Tell that to some Chinese businessman who also invest, eat, shit and buy things there also.I know you're stereotyping Johore as an unsafe country but remember 65% of the crime is done by foreigners also.Quality of life?Nearly 60% of Johoreans now using imported cars and have upgrade to a better homes..Most of the riders too have upgrade to bigger bikes while most of mid income Sillyporeans still think twice of buying a used car/bike..

A very famous quote by an economist - not sure if you have heard "A country and city can be said to be truly evolved and developed, when even it's rich and affluent use public transport"

When Punggol area fully developed, 34 also will have DD deployed?
Originally posted by SBS3004X:When Punggol area fully developed, 34 also will have DD deployed?
No way... DDs cannot enter CGA basements!

Can't but should have 34M that loops back from Tampines Ave 7 with DDs. Anyway, main load for 34 is to Tampines from Punggol and not to CGA.

Agreed. Most people rather take 27 from Tampines Ave 4/5, then go directly to PIE non-stop to the airport... If take 34, got to take Tampines Ave 2, before getting onto the TPE, which means a longer running time... Also, better frequency for 27.

Not yet, building aren't up...so i guess it's not fully developed but rather developing bah?

Jurong East Central area..govt gonna develop it as though it is another Marina Bay..till now a few residential projects are ongoing and they are building a hospital and at least 2-3 more shopping malls there...
Originally posted by carbikebus:Places to be develop with MRT and bus interchange is Tengah(5 years from now),Bidadari(7 years),Marina South(10 years),Woodlands North(6 years?) & Tampines North(6 years?)..No news of Simpang though.Tuas West i dunno how to describe it..no residential areas
Sim pang roads have been marked.
Bukit Batok, Bukit Gambok, CCK also have lot of place to develop. Also all area around Brickland road.
Jurong east and Boon Lay almost all HdB done I think. Only business buildings, malls, hospital coming up in Jurong east. See no new development in Pandan or Teban as well as Jurong west/east ave all buildings up... Correct me if I am wrong...
