  ....Woodlands XChange Official Opening is today, 4/11/2013. It is a private event though.

  Some features :
  > MAN n Crysler Cab steering wheels spotted off stage, at the side.
  > Faregates were on the stage
  > A painting of Woodlands MRT Station with a train stopping was on the wall, besides the phototaking machine, done by RP students.
  > SMRT CEO was present, GOH was Mr Khaw Boon Wan

  Woodlands Xchange was said to be Singapore's FIRST Eco-MRT Station.

  Though most O405G Hispano Habits have the same small outlets used for the interior at the articulator area, there are some buses with eyeball outlets at the articulator area. These buses also have only one aircon vent on the right side of the bus at the front trailer (below the window line) located nearer to the driver's window (like TIB1024H, the Volgren O405G demonstrator), whereas most Habits have two.

  Haha yesterday I dreamt of SBS9168S being preserved, so I went to search for preserved SBS buses and found SBS5333H. Little did I know my dream came true XD

  SBS used to change the old type of doors to the newer ones in the late 80s/early 90s.

  We can't exactly preserve buses in Singapore due to various reasons....but they will be preserved in some ways, through the photos, videos, memories and experiences on them by everyone regardless you're a bus fan or not.

  All things will have to go someday, you know, the good old saying of the old has to go before the new will come. Treasure it while you can~

  Not too correct, but maybe one of the way to know...

   

  if u spot old buses with shiny rims/clean exterior, there is a chance that it is gonna deregister soon.
