I think the OC500LE needs urgent refurbishment, sat on SMB6U and saw that the interior panels is showing signs of wear and tear. If they don't refurbish, espically the batch 1 delivered in 2008, wonder how it would like in years to come...

The buses need proper maintenance, not refurbishment... Even if you refurbish a bus but don't give it proper maintenance like SMRT, then you'll find many faults onboard the bus even after refurbishment when most problems are rectified by the refurbishment company... If you instead do proper maintenance on the buses regularly like SBST (AMDEP/BBDEP is the best in maintenance), then you'll find that the buses will not need refurbishment at all... SMRT needs to learn the ropes from SBST over this issue and proper scheduling. Actually, SBST also needs to watch out for these issues too, as these do appear on its BNDEP, HGDEP and SLBP buses...

Agree with what you say
I took a SBST Bus under SLBP(SBS7587D on Service 174) The ride overall was smooth just that I almost fell while going up to the upper deck due to bus driver maybe jam brake...
Can anyone confirm if TIB1077E is refurbished as reflected on SgWiki?
TIB1145S had completed her refurbishment as of 24th June 2014.

Yep, saw it too... Right front leaf door rubber strip at the bottom not attached properly, hanging loose from the door...
TIB1136T (AMDEP 804) refurbished...
TIB1089X
TIB1157H (KJDEP 67) refurbished fresh since last Sunday (on 180 that day):
Refurbished PA plated UMW Lances (PA639M, PA644Y PA669B) have 3 pairs of seats removed to create a standing space like on the revenue UMW/DSV Lances.
Summary of changes (for refurbished PA plated UMW Lances, TIB plated UMW Lances capacity is correct as reflected on the wiki):
Seating capacity: 41 (Design) -> 35 (Modified seating configuration)
Standing capacity: 34 (Design) -> 46 (Modified seating configuration)
Total: 75 (Design) -> 81 (Modified seating configuration)
Some other corrections for the specifications:
Correct Dennis Lance specs:
Lance 211 engine: Cummins 6CT
Maximum power output: 157kW (211bhp) @ 1,950rpm
The 211hp variants are never known as the C211, however they are using the 6CT engine, same as those used on the KMB Lances (VIN plate starts with 11SDA). This is the correct engine specs and performance, however I could not find out how much torque the engine produces.
Lance 245 engine: Cummins 6CT (C245)
Like the 211hp ones, they are also using the 6CT engine (albeit a more powerful version), but unlike the 211hp variant, this engine is also known as the C245.
Correct Volgren bodied Lance passenger capacity:
Seating capacity: 39
Standing capacity: 42
Total: 81
