All 6 of WLD 854 buses call out at WLDEP. Saw it on 489G timesheet today.
Originally posted by carbikebus:171 cannot be full Wldep cause off svc to Marina is damn far.Nearly half of 171 starts from Marina.857 better to be full Wldep or Amdep cause its a loop svc.Amdep need to expand its depot. They can partial ctrl with Wldep if their fleets are fully rigids or min bendy.
After the ONP at SEBP ceased?
Originally posted by TIB 585L:Maybe 858 and 966 need that too coz i have seen both buses off svc from their looping point and its really really far. It may took 1h just to go back WLDEP from CGA or MP. I know some 969 WL bus end at Tamp too maybe that duty that end at Tamp cn go AMDEP.
KJDEP needs to shift, it a bit inconvenient esp for BB ONP buses who have to go all the way to KJDEP and come back BB for ONP. They can shift somewhere down to around BB or CCK area.
If 966 extends to UEC then it can be considered under AMDEP, Looping point back to WLDEP is really far unless they let 966 end at UEC.

6 fullday 6 splitSide note: Think should condemn 854 soon, with that hopeless WLDEP swapping away 2 of 854 bendies (995L 996J) for 822C 827P, and even to the extent of switching fullday bendies to split shift rigids. Really hopeless WLDEP, only know how to 借刀人 because their own depot manager cannot fix the problems with Woodlands/BPJ route group and therefore need to exploit/abuse services doing relatively better from other route groups. Shame on you WLDEP.
No choice but to keep sending in complaint letters until they give back 2 of Sv854 bendies. Such a high demand cashcow services and WLDEP dare to pull such stunts. Really nothing to say liao... SMRT goes down is always and always is because of horrible depots like WLDEP.
Cool it boy, More or less 854's demand is there, which is why full day bendies are introduced, to supplement the demands both peak and non-peak hours. If they ever want to mess around with 854's high capacity buses, They'll have to think 'very hard' before making the decision.
Furthermore when this post was made, Are you sure they messed around with 995L 996J? Today 489G took 996J's block.
And boy, I don't think you know WLDEP the first day right? Just look at the scanias and you'll know what I am on about. Especially WLBP.

And now AMDEP only have 3 Smiley bendies..
Imo, TIB1149G is one of the better bendy among the bendy fleet in 854...

How to extend 966 to UEC?Think quite windy routes. If 857 can dual control I see why 966 can't?
Service 950 with MAN NL323Fs starting from today.

Most likely the Volgrens is replaced for now due to the Volgrens jumping around lately, the OCs may still stay for nw

Yes, right before 968R.

Watch out for 882 and other Yishun svc.
Originally posted by carbikebus:Watch out for 882 and other Yishun svc.
882 is hard coz those 2 buses is rarely seen jumping around. Yis svc like 851,853,855 a bit easier coz u cn occasionally those buses on cameo esp 851 wich has been so called in 969 WL slot last wk.
TIB620T was most likely on 321J slot today as the bus was after 727U. 319S is replaced by MAN, 320L replaced by 354P. SMB174S should be replacing 572Z- bus before 727U. I also saw a Lance on 969 jz nw.

Joyrided on 851 from YIS int to Bugis, Can find 0 WLDEP bus on 851. All bus spotted are perms OC. All other yishun service are all still using AMDEP buses jz nw except for some WL-AM bus like 857,852 etc
There's hell lot of screw up ever since Wldep take some duties of 854,2 bendy blocks are replace by 2 rigids and the freq sucks too.Its way better Amdep handle previously.Wldep should only control 851/855 not 854!

This seems to be more time-saving rather than to call it off at YI refuel at AMDEP then overnight at YI.
eg Trip for (Sunday as I don't have regular weekday) 854AM03/PM03: 2317 Bedok int 2440 Yishun Int (Yishun Int 2440 Woodlands Depot 2455) or 2317 Bedok Int 2440 Yishun Int (Yishun Int 2440 Overnight at YI 2515) which saves more time?

No difference cause 854 splitters park at depot not Yishun.851/855 can dual with Kjdep.700 and 975 can go full Wldep

For the one that has to overnight park it just means the next day's AM shift can come in later rather than pick up his bus from the depot, so if you save time on the PM it essentially transfers over to the AM portion only. So the difference is very marginal.
Maybe I stand corrected about WLDEP swapping 2 bendies out, but they have been replacing it with rigids on a fair basis, even swapping out the S shift bendies with rigids too. Freq has been worst (thats the standard trademark of WLDEP controlled services - poor management of scheduling efficiency), but the most awkward thing is the fact that why even go WLDEP in the first place?
1) On weekdays, several WLDEP AM shifts start their shift by downrouting at Motorola towards Yishun, a bare 100m outside AMDEP.
2) The rest start off at Yishun, with the majority of AMDEP shifts now going off to Bedok despite the fact that their BCs collect the bus from Yishun itself (Note that previously it holds true too since there is only 1 depot control, half the fleet goes down to Bedok to start but now you have two depot controls, it is supposed to make things easier and not complicated).
3) Consider that if overnight parking at YII actually is supposed to benefit AM drivers from just collecting their bus at the starting point, then WLDEP buses should theoretically start at Bedok which defeats the whole purpose of transferring control to another depot much much further away.
4) On weekends, half the WLDEP AM shifts start off at Bedok, and about the same number end off at Bedok as well.
If you consider so much inconsistencies, why even transfer to WLDEP in the first place? AMDEP is the best midpoint for this service, and giving up partial control to WLDEP just based on the fact that YII is equally close to both depots just does not make sense except for the fact that it is to free up more space. I'd rather they split up other Yishun services like 851 or 855 to KJDEP instead.
Agree with Mr Oceane. The service that should dual control in order to free up spaces is definitely 851 10 duties to Kjdep,855 4 duties to Kjdep.700 should just let Wldep control as its basically a loop svc.970 can partial Wldep/Kjdep.925 another epic should have let Kjdep solely control.Amdep can free up more spaces if svc like 961/969/980 give back more duties to Wldep instead.167 can give to Kjdep instead and 882 to Wldep.
