Wa, so long abandon this thread leh...
Anyway, if I had a bus rep, it would be TIB586J, TIB623K or TIB625E... One of them will do, but having multiple reps doesn't force me to choose only a few buses which I like.So, if I had multiple reps (favourite buses): TIB542K, TIB549S, TIB557T, TIB586J, TIB589B, TIB623K, TIB625E, TIB733B, TIB815Z

There is wiki, chat and forum under one website, and there is no way for the clones to invade as they can be banned/blocked. Also I am looking for more people to manage the wiki too.

No! How can it be called useless if SBST wants to introduce a two-car system? Surely there must be a high demand!
The LRT is a white elephant. It is not used often and it is not economical to run it.

Agree. The LRT is often used and sometimes it even gets packed to the door.

Happen today @ 10.25am svc 3 towards Punggol at Tampines St 21..A car driver and a motorcyclist confront the BC for horning and flashing highbeam at them..Not try to back up the car driver and rider but seems the China BC is very impatient..No wonder

Anyway, took SMB3503G on 972. When I boarded at Blk 270, the BC had to remind the passengers to not stand upstairs and had to go down... The aircon was good, though quite weak at the front before the exit doors. The bus accleration sound seems like a KUB doing a kickdown, but shifts gears at the same times as a ZF Volvo B9TL Wright. The engine sounds like a whistling unit, but one can tell when the gearbox changes gears by the unique whitsling sounds that come with the gearshifts.
The lower deck is okay, but I rather have the seats at the rear half facing sideways like the Volvo B9TLs, instead of transverse seating. Unfortunately, I couldn't go the upper deck during the trip, so I will need to take this bus again to try out seating on the upper deck. But overall, the bus is quite smooth and comfortable.
It has different features from the regular buses you find, such as different 'BUS STOPPING' bells, factory-fitted buzzers (BUS STOPPING and DOOR CLOSING) and tree guards at the upper deck front window. Ventura doors are quite good at opening and closing quietly and properly, though the rear doors take a long time to close (the exit door buzzer turns on even before the doors close and after!) But I believe that we will get used to these differences when more units come. Not bad, SMRT.

This is how a bus company should work out towards everybody...
tl lausanne is a good role model of Bus/Train/Tram company on how everything works well together... Depots are so clean & tidy that it looks like a laboratory...
Don't mind clicking on the link below to watch their clip... Not in English, but from the whole presentation on their working style, it's worth the watch...
