Are you sure that the SBS Transit bus drivers parking improperly? So far,I`ve never see the SBS Transit bus drivers parking improperly at Changi Airport Terminal. It was the SMRT bus captain that is the one at fault,no patience and don`t bother about the safety of the passengers while attempting to overtake an SBS Transit bus in that tight turnings. Doesn`t make sense, right? So who is at fault now?The SMRT BC or the SBS Transit BC or maybe the passengers that never warn the SMRT BC about their safety?
If the drivers have park properly, the MAN won't have hit the ceiling. Do note that there can't be 2 buses at the turning part, all back buses are required to wait for the unloading of the bus at berth[You guys might have take it as the MAN turns while there's front bus]
Normally, If the bus at berth would have park properly, the back bus would be able to just tilt a little while waiting for the front bus to depart.
However, there are cases where the back bus weren't able to tilt due to the parking of the front bus. And resulted in some KUBs have to do a tight turning after they move too forward...
Furthermore, with this accident, as heard, the driver seems to step too much while turning. I'm not sure how this driver stop behind the front bus, but I'm guess he wasn't really impatience because the impact only happens while turning a few metres. The turning is tight and I don't think it's easy for them.

There's 3 berth at Terminal 3, right?
So far I don't see any buses somewhat overtakes when both of them are turning, or when there's 1 front bus at the berth. It's only when there's buses parking at the middle berth, turning would be made possible.
Terminal 3 there's "improper" parking, same for terminal 2. If you call SMRT parking at T2 as improper, then tell me where can it park? Because everytime I see a SBST bus took up some proper parking spot already...
Anyway, PS, my "properly" at T3 was referring to the how the bus stops at the bus bay[too forward or far from the yellow start line].

It’s a cramped one…
Meaning to say, the middle berth in reality.. once a bus enters, the third bay’s bus would have little chance of forming up as per stipulated until the front bus moves off…
you know it’s tight, why go take chances?
it’s just like how SMRT drivers squeeze their way in the past at Woodlands…
oops.. 858 right? Woodlands Int bus rt right?
Bolded :
Yes, it's tight. But you sure the driver did squeeze his way to overtake? I may have mentioned about him doing the turns in fb, but come to think of it again, I don't think the impact would be that big if he squeeze? Besides that, I think he can be moving while the front bus moves, and from what I've heard-overstepping, the position there could hit the ceiling easily what?

Usually the last car out to airport is which bus?
Does it operate like a regular split or under special run?

SMB1304C is the last bus. Then i missed 1306Y on 858A. Then suddenly i saw a bendy with EDS 858A and its route details, Then i took it, Took a glance at the SL timesheet and saw 971ES103. Its like a last minute pullover. Moreover, 1228L spotted on split 960 jz nw with different driver i believe.
Strangely i saw 2 bendies on 961. TIB849B and TIB1184D. The SL who drove 849B drove 1032J ytd on 961 as stated ytd

Just an update:
TIB1184D and TIB849B BC is the same... He droved TIB1184D full trip to and fro, then came back change to TIB849B continue 961 again...
It could be that the buses had ended shifts on own svcs, rest, then pull out to do 961...
