can reccomend 265/410G during p hour but disadvantage for 265. i think amdep will finish 265 first. prob 2 for 265 1 for 410 this time. dont forget 265 is townlink

SMRT is stupid. SBST is getting Wrights as BSEP and SMRT is just getting SDs. They should have used brains and got some DDs through BSEP too.

Both are stupid. SBST go bring in Wrights when they could have brought other bus models...

Actually if you ask me i say SBST is smart.BSEP only subsidised the current new bus model that the co buys.So its a win-win situation for them. For the latter delivery they can always opt for another Volvo models or bodyworks.

SBS and SMRT are smart if they buy new Euro VI Citaros n Citaro Gs!!!
Originally posted by SBS 6078 M:not so fast. citaro might go to 265 again. the frequency is still poor even after 6300X went in. avg waiting 12-16mins during p hour. very hard to wait for that bus as i take it frequently. but 6312 and 6313 and the other amdep citaro might go to 55,58,70 and 72. i doubt so for 58 as it had perm before. plus riding citaro on 58 sucks totally
Actually when in the world did Sv 58 had perm Citaros uh? What you talking? If you're talking about the one that crossed-over from Sv 53, that isn't perm. Besides that slot is usually done by the KUB AFAIK.
And guys (not just to 'SBS6078M', but everyone else) you want to know which of your services might get, can you guys just search up the freq on SBST's website and look at the minimum-maximum waiting times for peak hours instead of anyhow whack? PM peak should be less than 10mins for trunk services and most feeders..if you see something like what I mentioned before (Sv 32 PM peak min waiting time is still 15mins, Sv 403 all day minimum is still 20mins), those are the more likely ones to get them in subsequent rounds of BSEP scheme.
Don't anyhow whack just because the buses are packed. With so many people now in Singapore, obviously all buses will be packed during peak hours right.

I'm not sure why Sv 43 got Citaros, but Sv 5 is because the BCs preferred the Citaros' acceleration on the uphill sections of PIE and also when heading up the steep uphill sliproad to PIE from Jalan Toa Payoh. The KUBs, especially the EEVs were like coughing and downshifting always when doing those parts, even worse during peak hour crowds.
And the Citaros for Sv 5 did indeed allow the BCs to keep up with their schedule in between stops. Previously the BCs would be stuck at Thomson-Orchard area and then lambat all the way from there cause the KUBs refused to accelerate fast enough. Seriously.

That crossoer slot was done by citaros in the past. Now it is done by KUBs.

The citaro perm is 6009M when newly introduced, it was long ago transferred to BRBP

That's why I said Sv 403 needs to be looked into, cause it's more than the expected? No idea why you're so defensive and shooting me, LOL. Or rather you misunderstood my post or somethng.

All it takes is a sudden hold up at the top of the slope tat's it.. all the momentum from the acceleration wun allow u to stop in time.. If the timetable cannot match, then it's time for the planners to do a review on the runtime... It's not onto driving into a region that goes into playing w/ road hazards...
Go ask the starter and stop shooting me dude. I was only saying it from what I had seen on Sv 5. You got problem with your Sv 57, that's your problem. Or you got problem with me just say. Seriously.

Are you saying that bus was perm 53/58 with that 58 x-over or perm 58? Make yourself clear please. Either way it was never perm 53 though. It only appeared for the first week or so then disappeared to BRBP when the rest of the 601x series came to Sv 53.

You do know any of the Sv 53 buses can do the X-over right, both KUBs & Citaros? If 6016S is on 8609T's current timings, then obviously 6016S will do that x-over to Sv 58 right? Ditto for 5060U's x-over from 410 to Sv 53. If 8538P is doing 5060U's timings on 410, then duh it'll do the 5060U x-over to Sv 53 as well.
1 more week before service 860 begins
