If you don't understand the context in which I said it then shut your mouth and don't whacckkkk.I spoke about having 315 having a long winding route to take commuters to SGN North Ave 1 and 4. Read the full conversation and not bits of it before commenting.

That is to link the commuters from both Serangoon Int and Serangoon North to Chomp Chomp and doesn't duplicates 317 on the way there.

But for those going to MRT have to pay more and travel all through SGN Garden way and Boundary road to reach NEX. More pax take bus to MRT than Chomp Chomp. -
88 is a useless service.
I can just take 74 from HG to AMK instead since its faster anyway.

How are the students from AMK ITE going to reach there from AMK MRT if 159 is full?
How are people along Hougang Ave 4 and Buangkok Green going to get to AMK MRT? 74 doesn't ply there. -

New bus service between Jurong West & CBD to launch in 2013
SINGAPORE: Commuters travelling between Jurong West and the Central Business District (CBD) during peak periods will be served by a new City Direct bus service, to be rolled out under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP) in the third quarter of 2013.
City Direct will provide a direct alternative for Jurong West train commuters travelling to the CBD.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said with limited stops and the use of the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), the journey time by City Direct is expected to be comparable to taking a feeder service and transferring to a MRT train to the city.
The new service will operate on weekday mornings, excluding public holidays, during peak hours from Jurong West to the city.
In the evening peak hours, the service will operate the return trip from the city to Jurong West.
Details of the new route are being worked out and are expected to be finalised in December 2012.
The LTA will call a tender in December, when the route is finalised, to invite private bus operators to submit their cost proposals for the new bus service.
The tendering process will allow the most cost-efficient operator to win operation rights for the service.
The move follows the government's announcement at the Committee of Supply 2012 to explore the feasibility of engaging private bus operators to run selected aspects of the BSEP on a limited scale during peak hours to complement BSEP capacity improvements to existing bus services.
To support City Direct, LTA is calling a tender on Wednesday, for the provision of a private bus operator payment system to support fare collection for the new service.

Comfort, Woodland transport or ????? I think comfort might get it " a bit kelong by Gov". And people might see buses like NUS KUBs or other new bus serve the area. what you all think? I refer the service also operate during weekends and holidays and extend to MBS area or Orchard area. Humm 502 already there come to think about.

Jurong West stretches from Jurong West Ave 1 to Ave2/71/93... I believe they would not duplicate 502A.

What would you say if I tell you that one of the perm buses is actually a B7R, which I understand, is probably the only one of its kind at least in CDG? Otherwise its probably one of two.

the long queue at srgn int only 30-40 ppl max and wad are u trying to prove???
Ppl take both 315 and 317 and there will hardly be anyone boarding these services once it leaves serangoon ctrl!

Which pte bus co would go buy Citaro??? Yutong, Kinglong more likely... 228X dunno ar... it's more to make better use of the pte bus resource... before they go pick up tour duties
