116 is still very new. Difficult to determine yet. But according to me highest loading comes on the route of 72 from Hougang Ave 9 to Hougang MRT. -
Service 116 freq sucks.
SBST anyhow whack peak periods freq 10mins.
I check freq avg is 13 - 18mins, and no people board one.

New service average freq is 15-20 mins.Still need to monitor and will do necessary adjustment.

SBS6321K goes to AR 48. Seen everyday these past few days in the morning. Not sure whether this replaces the crossover bus from sv16.
Saw it ard 7.55am at Marine Parade Rd today.

Pathetic. At NEX (opp), only 05 pax boarded and bus came after 14 mins. Surprisingly over the weekend, more people took the bus. Looks like there are more people who like to joyride than I thought ;)

Hais :/ Hope the demand will rise. Is it a faster alternative from S'goon North Ave 4 to Sgoon MRT, instead of taking 315? Joyrided 116 yday, load was okay, around 15 pax at its most crowded sector where 72A plies. Still cant determine its loading yet.

Although i nvr take 116 but i took 315 once and it took me like 15-20 mins just to get from S'goon North Ave 4 to NEX coz it bypass North Ave 1, Serangoon Garden Way especially the roundabouts section, Then Lor Chuan then NEX. So 116 is faster just by looking at the routes

It is much faster to NEX than 315. It would have been even faster had it traveled via Serangoon North Ave 1 and would have made more sense. Today, for travelers from SGN North Ave 1, it still takes 15 mins to NEX, when the actual traveling time should be half.315 has a very weird and winding route. 116 loading is only at Hougang 9 to Hougang MRT as yet. Surprising that people haven't started taking it yet considering the posters have been up from 2 weeks now.

315 route is stupid. There is 317 to Serangoon GDN Way - there is no need of 315. There is again 73, 156 to take you to YCK Road. It is a redundant service, but the loading is still high because it has been the only service connecting SGN North Ave 1 and 4 and AMK Ave 3 to NEX till now.

116's loading it not so high. Plus now it operates at a frequency between 5 - 9 mins during spilt shift periods(because if i'm not wrong, there are 2 spilt citaros) and it's not even half full. SBST can consider withdrawing 315 and make service 116 ply SGN North Ave 1 and 4 and AMK Ave 3 to NEX. Plus some part of it is duplicate of 317. Can consider giving some 315 buses to 317.

I agree. Not happy with the route of 116 in the first place. Difficult to be a packed service. I agree with you - 315 should be withdrawn and 116 should take over the lost segment of 315 at AMK and SGN North Ave 1. 317 can manage the load for SGN Garden way with better frequency.

One of 116 main link is from S'goon North Ave 4 to Nex. If 116 takes over, that link will be lost. Probably commuters still blur about the route?

116 serves Serangoon North Ave 4, and if the route has to be modified 116 should ply SGN North Ave 1 as well to replace 315.
