The highest loading in the entire route was observed on the route that is same as 72. May be a 72 had not called at the stop for quite some time, and hence at Hougang 1 Mall itself around 30 pax entered.
Loading very good because all Citaros!!! Everyone like!!! -

SG North to Nex (6 pax)
Nex to Hougang One (1 pax/me)
Hougang One to Hougang Central Int (2 pax) -
Very fun ride, was chatting with the BC all the way...
Lucky there's no bus fans onboard... -
When ah SMRT wanna introduced a short trunk svc in Sembawang?

I don't think 116 route will ever get DDs. The max loading on this route will be on Hougang 9 to Hougang Int. It won't even need KUBs - Citaros is fine.
116 should have gone via Serangoon North Ave 1 to Serangoon North Ave 3/4. That way people along Ave 1 would also get quicker service to Serangoon Int rather than doing merry go round around Lor Chuan.

I didnt even say that it needed dds. I just said that the loading will grow like what happend to service 109.
