those at Jln besar wanting to use 23 to go to Tampines can just do a 66/67 to 23 transfer at Rochor Canal Road (the bus stop besides Sim Lim Square)
these 30 pax u referring to may be passengers from Tampines who want to get to serangoon road direct
Possible. Either way I have seen while getting in at Tekka Center, the bus already has a good # of pax. And if you note the distance between Jalan Besar and Serangoon road is quite long to walk - so may be people don't mind paying 10 cents more if required.

Why don't they just have it terminated at Queen St or Marina Centre Terminal
23 used to loop at Tomilison Rd

Thats the real reason why 159 have no DDs...
i've seen the pic..that's the entire CTE..not really the viaduct...DD still can
again..it's only a myth, rumour or hearsay from others that this Lor Chuan portion restricts DD....

I thought DD got 8 wheels.
2 in front, 6 behind.
4 or 6 wheels how to take the load?
tomorrow when I take DD bus, I will go count.
Definitely not 10 wheels.
I stand by my 8 wheels.
Are you all sure you all are bus fans?
Your ''wheel'' means 1 tyre or 2 tyre? If 1 tyre means 1 ADD got 10 wheels
2 each for the 2 rear axles and 1 for each front axle. If you see clearly from this pic I got from SgWiki [ Direct link from SgWiki, no upload to photobucket or anything ] that it got 2 pair of wheels each for the rear axles but have 1 wheel 4 the front. Since buses need to have symmetrical wheel position to ensure the centre of gravity does not move off-core, it is CONFIRMED to have 10 WHEELS
Air con double deckers only have 8 wheels.
- 2 front wheels
- 2 tag wheels
- 4 rear most wheels
Look under the buses to get the answer.

Finally, I have someone who agrees with me.
You all better go count the wheels again when you all take the bus tomolo.
