Your 117. I think you forgot to include Woodlands or did I miss it in the never-ending route ;)
I can see out of your 100 buses deployed, 20 DDs bunching together. What a fun???
@all above who commented - I think you should take a look at the route. It is good fun.

My route to woodlands will either duplicate 858, 969, or 812. Since it WILL pass through Yishun to prevent duplicating with 161, it will duplicate 85 instead since more people prefer a express route to Yishun. So, no point going to WL via YISHUN or express till WL.

By the way, there isn't any DD deployed for safety reasons under Fort Canning Tunnel and KPE.
You know right your route will never get implemented :) Highly unrealistic.

Okay, I edited it to ply Bukit Panjang, Choa Chu Kang and Jurong.
Most unrealistic is 117X, go into restricted area
117 maybe when Tuas South Ave 5 more developed...

43/45?? are you sure?? when was this? how many years back?
lol 153 doesn't need DDs, should throw them to 113 instead.
Peak hours oso not crowded sia...
Newest service should be 5 and 175. 128 and other premium svcs not counted..

153 has a higher loading than 113.

This is funny. Earlier when I said 153 does not require so many DDs, I got a big lecture and was called names from people on this forum. Again 153 has high loading during peak hours, but 3-4 DDs from HGG to BMR in morning peak, and 3-4 DDs from BMR to HGG in evening peak should suffice.
I feel it will be better if SBST introduces DDs on more routes during morning / evening peak, and take off some DDs which travel in the non-peak direction.

113 does not need DDs too.

Ofcourse 185 needs DDs. Why would you even question this? It is one of the few trunk routs from Soon Lee / Pioneer to Clementi / BNV.
I think the current split of DD/SD on 185 is also fine.
Originally posted by TIB 501 D:which part of the route? i seldom see it crowded, even the SDs.
153 high loading - Morning peak: Bartley to Bukit Merah
153 evening peak - Bukit Merah to Bartley
Opposite side, low loading (around 20-30 pax)

185 introduced together with 45 on 26 December 2006.
5 was introduced together with 175 on 11 March 2007
So for the last 5 years no new route???

Yes.
In 2008, SBST wants to introduce svc 117 from Hougang Central to Bukit Batok..

Still wondering why didnt they extend 128's operation time

Problem is that SBST needs time to analyse the routes. Often you can see some inspectors standing in bus stops or take a bus for a 1 bus-stop ride or so.

sbst had originally planned 117 to run parallel to 147/74 then turn right to ave 4 then follow 72 route until yio chu kang road where it will turn left and then onward to amk ave 3 then up CTE until hit BB.

cos 128 is a "political service", it's an idea by someone. sbst had originally numbered this service 164 but was told to change it to 128.
if u remembered correctly, sbst had also applied previously to withdraw this service but was rejected. for what reasons? quite obvious....
anyway, just sharing what i know and you can choose not to believe.

Seriously express service to BB?
Hmm. It said to operate on peak hours but I think it only operates 2 times... Quite convenient for people to take express ride from orchard to home.
