26 and 155 I THINK still have some problems at Katong and Siglap respectively bah...
Are the end-on berths at TPY ready for WAB? Not very sure as I had not been to TPY for some time already...

out of these only 26 40 83 90 139 155 262 have majority WAB fleet and should turn into WAB next round.. the rest are still waiting for fleet upgrades.. SBST have already done good work in turning more than 75% of their services WAB....
U missed out 193 and Premium services... And also 179 in the bottom list which had recently got massive fleet upgrades not long ago.

Eh shit svc 40 I'm so sorry
Terrible typo there
I know a reason why HGDEP don`t want to make the SP Scania and citaros perm on a service. HGDEP is lack of WAB buses. If HGDEP want to make 159 a WAB service,HGDEP need to have enough SP WAB buses in case the perm WAB buses is under maintanence or breakdown. There many HGDEP services such as 27,34,62,100 and 105 that declared WAB by using the Scania WAB buses.Tell me if one day all these WAB buses is under maintanence or breakdown,HGDEP need to use the SP Scania to meet the WAB quota. If they keep using Volvo B10M,in the first place why HGDEP not make that service as a wab service.
Lot of Toa Payoh services already have WAB fleet but no WAB status as their berths are not ready. Why give these services so many WAB buses in the first place, rather give it to other services that have ready infrastructure and make them WAB.
182/192 was no surprise. They are like JIS services to Tuas Industrial area, yet got massive upgrade and WAB status. Other JIS services ignored so badly that no WEG except BSEP add. Funny eh?
179 will go WAB next round for sure.
74 has so many cameo KUBs and Citaros these days that looks like 74 may be a candidate too.
74 hardly had KUB / Citaro cameo a few months back. Suddenly not just WEGs, even other WAB buses in full force.
They forgot that svc 11 & 115 got lots of Ah Peks and Ah Sohs taking nia
Now HGDEP also dun hv enough WAB buses to go around how to put these svcs go WAB ?

Like 27, 34 those full fleet WAB can just cut some away to non-WAB since the quota will still be met... At least like that another 2 svcs might gain the chance of being WAB... lol...

i think recently they even take away some perm citaros from 159 to sv 27 somemore and replace this SP dm/striders to 159 instead .

11 and 115 easy, they need only 1 bus each. Just get any spare K230UBs to perm can already. Same goes for 84.

Speaking about this, I have seen 6606P on 163 almost everyday without fail.

I think that is abit difficult, as SBST rationale is all their CGA services to be full fleet WAB.

yes ! and user SBST 163 also mention dat 6606 keep doing on 163 recently in Suspected Redoployments thread and i myself also seen it a few times .

as per LTA, they have finished upgrade bus stops and infrastructure, except for some bus stops which are unable to modify such as Balestier road... so no issue at all.. it is just the timing.. and toa payoh interchange berths have all been modify...

berth are ready..... maybe you should go and apply job at SBST and do all the deployment your self? the old buses are gone and KUB replace the O405... so if sv26/90/155/145/139 dun get KUB, what do they get? MK4??????

Agreed.
There isn't much logic in having so bloody many WABs on one single CGA svc. IMO I think all the Citaros from svc 27 will do with B10Ms and the citaros could be deployed on svcs like 159. Anyway not like the svcs are designated for travellers. Most pax I see are CGA workers and residents from Tanpines and other places.

lol
Luckily you aren't the one deploying our buses.
In case you dont realise, bus deployment is not masa-masa one you know.
Its so much easier on the admin side if its clear cut full WAB or full non-WAB.
At this point where SBST fleet is transiting to full WAB soon, you want to add more burden to those who plan deployments? Get a grip la...rather than half-half fleets, its easier to manage clear WAB/non-WAB fleets.
Look.
If you are really so brilliant about it, go find a career in SBST.
I have full confidence in your passion about deployments. It will do us good.
But I also have full confidence that some sense will knocked into you as well. It will do us good too!

So my very intelligent friend, since berths are ready and WAB bus fleets are in place, why are these buses not yet WAB?
lemon, you say sv 50 does not need that many DDs. I think you should go observe the loading between Fernvale and Compass Point and towards ITE in AM peak. PM peak also good crowds towards Bishan and Ave 5 to Sengkang. DDs upper deck almost fully seated and lower deck also.

I think you missed his point. His point was that you are barking up the wrong tree.
His point wasnt so much that these services are WAB-ready, but that they are not WAB at the moment, but where do you expect the new buses to go?
Lay-up first because not enough WAB services?
He might very well be unable to answer your question because if we are able to, we might as well be with LTA/SBST/SMRT in effect.

How do you know some people here are not working for LTA/SBST/SMRT in the first place? Even if they are not supposed to, they still can do it from their homes. no!?
