Looking at these svcs, They don't qualify.
Originally posted by lemon1974:looking at current situation, the potential SBST WAB services are below:
10, 56, 66, 70, 73, 83, 105, 124, 125, 128, 168, 186, 197, CT8 and high change those HG/SK feeders..
325/372 not qualified since they had ZERO WAB perms (unless the same thing happens like 354 liddat)
56 no, due to some bus stops along TPY/Downtown
83 due to Punggol Central... out oso;
73 must w8 for int to finish 1st...
no matter what, i'm PRETTY sure the svc above will not get into the March 2012 list.
I think on the whole for SMRT it is harder to predict. Because their WAB deployments tend to be more volatile? They can put in a bunch of WABs on this service A this week, then a few weeks later, shift out the entire block of WABs and put on service B and make service B WAB status instead.

Ei dude.. 282,284,285 also got no WAB perms before it became WAB service so why not SK/HG feeder can't be WAB service?

well said... not sure some other ppl just anyhow whack also.... SBST is trying to make all its feeder to be WAB soon.. if the feeder services are not becoming WAB, then how the PIW going to get to interchange and MRT station to take the WAB trunk services and Trains? look at SMRT, how many of their feeder services can be WAB? can count so easily......

No doubt SMRT deployments are volatile, But not in this manner.

Probably abit exaggerating, but you know how it works too.

they would rather put a few WAB on Sv854, 4 more on Sv857, some on Sv167 and some on Sv852, for which these WAB can put to good use.. Can put on Sv859 to convert to WAB... dunno what they are thinking also...

I don't mind them (854,857,167,852) having WABs if the drivers allow the WCB people to board, Afterall if they want to let those drivers having these buses to start, They too also must have the responsibility to let WCB passengers board.

Allowing PIWs to board or not is not even dictated by the SLs (it shouldn't be anyway), and it is not as if they can decide and not get any repercussions should any unpleasant issue arise out of such unofficial arrangement like PIWs unable to alight at a certain stop whatsoever. The crux lies with the management and how they plan the fleet..

Ei dude..you are wrong, SBST can also announce WAB to the 2 feeder service and 282,284,285 and 354 also have no WAB bus before what...i think SBST should focus on WAB services for feeder svc.

i said unless the two svc repeat 354's situation rite? pls read carefully b4 u quote me.
And yes, judging by how SBS abd SMRT mistreat Sengkang int svc, do u think 372 will get those WABs?

Why would SMRT mistreat 965? Doesn't 965 get new MAN cameos nowdays?

165 also.

It was originally well with Volgrens on 965 but suddenly the Volgrens were replaced by JB-registered O405 boxes. Luckily the MANs came in to help 965.

I agree, the Bukit merah feeders (less 272 get regular K230 crossover from 198), 225 & 315 likewise. The WAB announcement came when K230 never or merely cameo these services for a number of times ur fingers can count.
Though I wonder when will the next set of WAB commence... The influx of Citaros at Hgdep suggest possiblity on 372 if u ask me, even if they dont get Citaros they might get Scanias if services like 43, 109 absorb Citaros and release their k230 perm.
Other services I think 124... since it's also one of those calling at VWO (is it the organisation's name) at St Michael, which is why 21 is first WAB. Somemore, most of its routes have WAB services alongside, especially Telok Blangah Heights where 273 is now a WAB, so any "hurdles" is not likely validated.
Think these services might be going WAB soon:-
25, 33 - moved to the new temporary Bedok interchange
66, 79, 97, 98, 105, 197 - moved to the new temporary JE interchange
157, 163 - boarding point at TPY shifted forward to join in with 231
168 - based on the latest deployments
161 - might join in together with 168 to become WAB
165 - more Wrights added into the fleet
70 - only YCK service yet to declare WAB

25: probably wait till next round of Wrights to be allocated to AMDEP in a long time.
33: yes possibly, if BBDEP can finally commit to contributing Citaros to hit the min quota, now it's just lacking WABs from BB side.
197: yes because it already has hit the min quota.
168: yes also because it too has hit the min quota.
161: possibly not this round, unless they can have that large amounts of WABs dumped onto 161 at one shot (9 of them to be exact).
70: If the latest batch of new Wrights go to AMDEP, then yeah 70 is likely to go WAB status soon.

it's clear 168 become WAB as even the peak was reached when KUBs were in to replace the last two B10Ms.
161... NOPE FOR THIS ROUND. Clearly not enuff buses to go arnd. Before third season when all the wrights were in?
