For sv 161 i think still hv to wait for a while ! and now this svc only hv 2 permed WEGs hv to wait for more WAB buses to come in first
Gotta feeling that 859 and 980 may go WAB in the next wave based on recent MAN deployments...

859 yes but 980 still must move out a little. I don't wish for 980 to be like another 855. 855's quota is fail seriously.

Problem lies with AMDEP, no intake of new buses and worst still many spare lances running around.
980 can move a little more by replacing 1-2 more lances with any available OC500LE/Citaro for AMDEP side. The WLDEP side seems to be almost full fleet new MANs for now.
And it seems like 178 is totally neglected from any new MANs despite the older Scanias moving out to dereg. Still remember back in 2006, 178 had full fleet old Nissan UD perms.

Actually there are some Citaro SP that can be deployed to replace the Lance on 980

Personally I think 178's fleet is good enough. With 2E plus other hands-me down from ex KJ 167 and KJ 858 buses, When they are brand new and plus being redeployed to other services before 438D 2E 805C 808U I think it is good enough. I will be happy if it gets citaro but I don't see that coming for now.
Svc860..? Full BSEP MANs~~~

Finally it's 88 's turn.
859,961 if AMDEP start getting at least 4 WABs,966 if another 4-5 WABs come in and 980 another good candidate.860 automatic WABs leh new service..
AMDEP should expand if they wanna take more newer buses and stop utilising Yishun Int.Unless Yishun to be 100% Wldep controlled.
157 might be next with intake of new wrights.
980 too if can kick in another 1-2 WABs for the best

88 shift berth?
Maybe 518.
my fav 518
167,859,980,961,966
I forsee that 518 will go WAB when 2622T goes off (or for that matter any of the 3 remaining Striders). Go off as in either lifespan expiry reaches (2622T seems in danger) or perm elsewhere. 518 needs only 1 more WAB to go WAB status.
167, 853, 859, 860, 980

853 so unlikely for now. Fleet full of Lances
Originally posted by TIB 585L:853 so unlikely for now. Fleet full of Lances
I think there are some places 853 ply that aren't WAB-friendly...
Originally posted by TIB 585L:853 so unlikely for now. Fleet full of Lances
I hope 853 will turn WAB soon. Pass by Old estates like Geylang Bahru, Serangoon, AMK, Yishun, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Polyclinic...
The only WAB bus on 853 is SMB120Y...
853 case all they need is 4 Citaros,2 OCS and 4 MANs to replace the Lances.167 WL side need to deploy 6 MANs to replace the Scanias.961 Amdep side need at least 6 WABs.859 anytime.980 WL side.963 can go WABs if at least 10 MANs and 3 OCs go over to replace the O405s.
Amdep side all I can predict is 167 and 980
Kjdep side 941,945
Wldep side 167,859,966,980

Can WL 961 be considered. There are quite a num of Citaro and MAN perms

Unless AMDEP does something to it.

I'm sorry, but the current WAB quota just isn't there.
167 859 and 980 wise yes they can, 167 just have to remove 629U 635B 645Y to make it.
