SBST should do an overhaul of the CDGE Volvo B9TLs. The radiator sound can be loud for many buses.
It can be heard blocks away. Like machiam ambulance. Easily the noisiest bus I have heard.
And now worse, now can hear on many B9TL strange air leaking sounds as they accelerate and these have very poor acceleration now.

I mean I know their acceleration is locked. That's ok-ok to me.
But those with the air leaking are very very slow.
And the CDGE also has the nasty jerk whenever the BC engages handbrake.

I think SBS7315Y is one of the above-mentioned. Terrible gas leak sound plus blasting radiator.

How about the VO3X Batch 2 and 3? I would rather they be sent to JIS first then when they retire, VSOs and Tridents will replace them. Then after they retire, it would be B9TL CDGE's turn. I think that is how SBS will do it.
WAB or non step bus is what I think
I prefer if Wrights or CDGE thrown to JIS. VSO is much comfortable than them..

Contrary to what has been posted, SBS9816E is still without a rear EDS as of today. The cut hole remains a cut hole.
Alittle bit off topic, but I noticed that one of the Sv 76 CDGE B9TL's side EDS (can't recall the rego) is different from the rest of the CDGEs. Way bigger font and bigger display, seems like those either from the VSOs or Wrights.
SBS9840J (BN 21/539) confirmed with all LECIP EDS installed (front, side & rear). Today on 21 & 539 with all installed & adless.
Currently VSOs without EDS but with CCTV upgrades has both old and new CCTV units, while upon EDS upgrade (eg SBS9828X), the old CCTV unit will be removed and the new CCTV unit takes its place while the EDS control unit is installed at where the upgraded CCTV unit used to be. However, the old CCTV cameras still remain in the bus and I believe that they are either unused or linked together with the new CCTV.

Probably the old CCTV is unused already in that case, makes no sense for them to keep the black & white pinhole camera when they already have a larger & at least coloured CCTV display & system in place at the same location on upper deck.

No I'm sorry to say that this is false. I somehow made a mistaken seeing it. It is still spotted without rear eds as of today (18/7/12). Anyways,
SBS9849K is spotted with LECIP today (Inc rear)
So that means is left with SBS9826B.
