It seems like the ex-SE buses like 760Y and 762S are WLD 75 buses now, Can someone confirm?

They are replacing the Citaros that goes over to WL 859?

Yes.

Ouh ok 75 having a fleet downgrade then.
Originally posted by Rui jing:I think sv92 might not be able to use citaros due to the steep slopes at Mt Sinai area. As for sv200, it once had a citaro and recently a kub running on it and it runs around holland v area..perhaps possible. Sv93 could do with citaros too and AR could use some of its striders n dm3500s on other AR services. Same for sv151 & 156 on BB side.
I see, thanks for the insight.
Then now, there's the dilemma. Cause we know that Citaros have pathetic standing room and yet more power, while the KUBs have more standing room but less power, I think they might be looking at swapping out the existing KUBs on those lower-demand services for Citaros instead leh. I mean, just look at 354 swapping out 8416H for 6180A. What do you think?

sv93 is likely. 6188 and 6187 iirc on 93 today.
Suspect 1 or 2 citaro to perm SV.5 seems to c almost everyday to fill missing bus slot

Agree. Another example of this would be sv33 on BN side. I dont know whether is it a packed service along its route during peak but seems like BN is moving its striders and some kubs to other services or spare. I think it could cope during non-peak even in areas like victoria st etc. Sv 354 using citaros may be a good idea but BN only saves 2 Kubs..lets say full fleet citaro.
Btw do you know the missing bus on sv32 for BN side? I saw 2626H once and ytd 2791M on it. Also sv40 seems to use 922R ytd and 881A today. 881A might be spare soon. Thanks.

That means it goes to BB as spare? Is it the first time citaro on sv93 too? Cheers.

33's fleet is sometimes quite packed during peak hour cause there's Chinatown & Bugis. Crush loading usually happens there from what I can see (esp Bugis, almost 7 days a week always packed). Think 33's fleet is due to mileage and lesser extent to capacity though, the 4 perm Citaros now aren't gonna increase capacity much anyway.
42's fleet like unstable seh. Everyday different buses as far as I can tell from the cameo posts of everyone.
Anyway, 354 at most only 1 Citaro now. The other slot just done by random KUBs, don't know where 8419A MIA to. Not even on cameo that guy.
Think BNDEP is like playing mahjong now, trying to figure out which Mk4/KUB to kope out from the diff services. Just look at how they kick 922R 937Z 8332R 8335H 8416H 8532E out of their perm service and you get what I mean.

The buses doing those slots like alternating leh, and by right there should be a perm batch 2 Wright instead to replace 9664B, unless they convert back that slot to WSD?

That should be the only problem for BN and it needs more wrights for services like sv5 etc. Unlike HG, it almost has enough citaros to replace its MK III fleet and giving wrights and citaros and turning striders and batch 1/2 VOs to spare or other services.
Sv42 hasnt found a bus that suits it I guess. The last mk III to cameo on it was 778R. Likely a DM. Will try to observe it for the next few months. It's a good thing AM gave back some DMs back to BN. That bus is still good with punching noise from its transmission.

no. happened before prior to the one i spotted.
anyway, 1 of them is on 93 today again.

they shld as well just put those kubs on 28 instead. such a bad idea to perm so many citaros on 28 when it shld have been DDs instead.

Uh, if 42 still doesn't find a suitable Mk4 to replace 776X this week, I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to go the way with what has happened to 354 as well. The slight extra torque could help the bus pull up the Kembangan steep incline more effortless in a way.
As for BNDEP, yeah I agree with what you said. But the main reason why they made so many of their VO3xs as SPs is simply because the majority of their full-control services are dual DD-SD services. Only some like 42, 38, 36 + some of the feeders (358, 359, 354, 293, 228, 229 etc) are purely SD fleet. Even most of their dual-depot services like 168, 21, 10 etc have mixed DD-SD fleets (exception of 32 & 33 to list a few). That's why they can afford to put a SP VO3x to replace a SD on that service if they have enough to go around. Ditto for HGDEP, except that HG has some SP Citaros to play around with for now.
And then now because there's more SD SPs (think of 922R 937Z 1926Z 1929R 8335H 8532E that recent bunch), they can afford to let their DDs go around to replace pure DD slots, seldom see a DD replace a SD timing at my side in recent weeks (Don't shoot me, this is what I've observed recently).

I think it has more to do with not all BRBP BCs learnt how to drive Citaros yet? (Correct me if I'm wrong) But if some BRBP services needs some SD WAB replacement for cameo, more likely than not they used the KUBs instead. Even those 131 Citaros only did 28 as cameos, I don't see them much on cameo elsewhere.
And then I think they held back putting more DDs on 28 too because it's like having a lack of SP DDs to go around in BRBP itself. I mean yeah, it can use those SP LO3xs from AMDEP and inter-change, but it's not like the AMDEP SP DD fleet is in abundance as well. So I guess put Citaros on 28 to replace those missing slots is the 2nd best choice? (logically speaking though)

I have seen SP BN DDs on sv10, 14, 196 recently like you've said. BN shld fully utilize their batch 3 VOXs to perm on some of their services. Just a thought though.
Speaking of sv36, I think 8169X is perm already. Seen it many times since it came over from AM. That shld be the new SD add.
Now BN has so many mark IVs and kubs. Wonder what they will do with it. Haha.

Well, they did use 9643L to go perm 45 instead from SP to replace 1920P uh. But yeah, the others like 9621A 9661J are good buses to put on those expressway sectors. 9521E 9526S has good acceleration & freaking good A/C whole day. But then some like 9418X are really rotten.
You spotted 8169X always uh? Cause before that 5006C is always doing 36, then now it's like alternating between the two.
I think they would let the Mk4s run around for now cause I think their mileage is slightly higher than the rest that are perm somewhere. If anyone did realise, the first few Mk4 Striders in rego sequence in BN have actually gone out to SP in somewhere or another in recent months (except 1896B 1902S) while those in the 25/26xx series haven't IIRC. Think 1898X 1915E 1920P 1925B 1926Z 1929R 1930K.

then i tink it's high time both BR and AM give away SD and take in DDs in return instead.

About what time of the day do you see 5006C on sv36? I do know I saw it once at ard 4 plus at suntec area. I'll try to observe it cause its around where I'm normally at.
It would be better for 5006C to perm sv36 cause it has more seats in front. Dont know why the euro Ivs have so many areas bounded by poles in front. Not too good if 8169X is going to be perm sv36..cant utilize much of the space for the suntec crowd in the evening.

I see 5006C usually on Fridays and over the weekend that stretch though. That's why I can't confirm if it's perm or sth, but it's good if you could help me check cause both 5006C & 8169X have been MIA in cameoing lately to me.
But yeah, I also think the Euro V would be a better bet too cause of the more lethargic / slower-accelerating gearbox (depends on how you see it) compared to the Euro IV. I mean, that is one of the reasons why 36 gave away 8306S 8326J 8327G 8330X that bunch to their respective perm services now cause the Euro IV tended to be less smooth at the limit on the expressway sector from CGA to Marine Parade (vice versa).

Yeah that's true. I mean like even the few BRBP SP Striders they have, more often than not I see them cameo on Sv 60 more times in a month than they did on other services.
Perhaps a lack of new Wrights + Citaros (this one is substantial, the last batch of new Citaros AM/BR got was 6077R 6081C that bunch, exception of that 6109H which came from Training), while they continued to register and allocate another 100+ more Citaros till the 618x series now already.
I suspect SBS876R (BN SP as reflected in sgwiki), is now redeployed to service 15. Has been seeing the bus for a week on service 15 already.

Its running on a WAB slot, se404 if i'm not wrong.
