  I think it would be seriously better if SMRT keeps the Dennis Lances..Especially the UK ones.They r still fine what.Now normally alr sometimes they facing the problems of not enough buses..Like last year they kena the MRT breakdown all that then they have to use up most of their buses for the bridging svcs then end up their normal svcs kena affected by shortage of buses.If they kena like that again,surely will become even worse and a serious bus shortage for them again..This is the time when this spare buses can be put to good use..At least if got all this extra Dennis Lances is better than nothing.Can keep them as spare buses at least.This is just my opinion.

  SMRT depot do not have enough space for more buses already.

  Anyway, the Dennis Lances are all trash, worst buses in Singapore now. Just scrap all of them and replace by MAN bus.

  Hopefully SMRT put up all their UMW Lances for sale and they gets sold to places like Indonesia. They will come to good use there.

  The UK Lances are still in good condition. At most convert all of them to PA plates and use them for charter service or MRT bridging services. Another way is put all of them perm on RWS8 whereas the OC500LEs go over to serve other trunk services.

  Actually, in general, besides the 0405, just about every type in SMRT's fleet has been woefully maintained. 

  Just compare SBS's older buses with SMRT's.

  I still feel AMDEP have improved a little, not like in the past where GL1 and TMP(969) buses gets to start from AMDEP directly, Now they've made life a little better and AMDEP isn't that cramped up now. And yes now 961,969 and RWS8 have OVNP slots at GL1.
