Nevermind lah, those kids are just overly obsessed with new buses. Seen those more than once already, just that they don't know me, I don't know them.
I met two of those kids whom i don't know who exactly they are on a Service 53 Citaro before. The Citaros had just came out on 53. Then those 2 kids keep discussing about the Citaro, then got a thrill like sex pleasure when the BC decided to floor the bus, getting high on the noise from the turbo. I mean please, if you like the turbo noise, you don't have to yell & announce it to the whole world in the bus for all to hear.
Then the younger one (both were in their school uniforms, LOL) with a mushroom head haircut asked the older one how many Citaros there are on 53, and why there wasn't another Citaro on 53 in the opposite direction. And while those two were discussing away, 2 Citaros on 53 passed by my bus in the opposite direction. They didn't notice them. LOL, what fools. Discus discuss discuss also can miss what they are intending to spot.
took it my 1st time today on 218A sv700 (bpj - shenton way)
if only the brakes were air brakes and not disc brakes, i would say they're as good as the CNGs.
still yet to see the perfect LE SD, other than the CNG.

Who likes to stand all the way and squeeze in a bus like a sardine during the whole journey? Buses should operate as less crowded choice for commuters from trains. Overcrowding is because of SMRT incompetance in providing good service and focus in squeezing more people in their buses and trains for more profits for the company.
no no no
The MAN's after exit aisle is totally cmi...
The heavy corridor buses will sure can't cope at all.

Then shift to double decker buses. I see nothing wrong with Citaros and the MAN buses. Commuters pay for a safe and comfortable ride, not squeeze like sardines in a bus that drives recklessly.
If you tried staning say during peak hrs..
The rear area aft the exit is not even meant for standee...
If such buses are deployed to rts like 27, sure die
Another thing is the incline...
Then ppl kpkbing abt the KUB's middle 2x step.. Compare it w/ the Citaro's side incline...
There's no free lunch when there's the engine to think of.
