  I believe KJDEP is taking more MAN's due to the fact that they will be retiring the DAFs and also the UD's. And not to forget at the fact that KJDEP is somehow neglected due to the fact that most new buses always go to WLDEP/AMDEP (SMRT). So i think that it's about time that KJDEP takes in new buses.

  don't worry, other depots will also get. I would really want to see AMDEP taking in more MANs. With only 1 MAN in AMDEP, It's somehow pathetic.

  No. The OCs that SMRT bought in 2008/2009 KJ and AMDEP takes the most out of it with WLDEP has the least out of these 3.
  
  The citaros were shared equally amongst the 3 depots, But the MAN we will see.

  Just taken the MAN on a whim...

  This bus is absolutely unlike any type we have seen to date in terms of performance. Bus has got a great deal of power across a very broad spectrum of rpm. Very responsive under all kinds of traffic conditions. Very nice suspension and balance too, and the Gemilang body is pretty good. Aircon is good too!

  But my gripe would be its relatively poor leg-room compared to the Citaro and the K230UB, and if I thought the Citaro was already quite cramped, the MAN was worse. 

  I wonder how its fuel consumption fare.

  The most amazing thing i saw today at 1851hrs+/- YMCA bus stop[twds CCK]
  2 young bus fans ran across the road to try to hop on sv190, SMB211T[just start service]
  2 snapped pix of bus before boarding, 1st boy then went to the middle of the bus to snap a pix of driver side of bus, the other whipped out phone and snapping interior of bus n was joined by the other, both using their camera phones and blocking a 3rd/4th passenger from moving to the rear to get a seat,
  SL cant be bothered, bus moved off 4/5mins after arrival.
  2 young chaps finali decide to tap their EZ link cards before taking the front seats...
