Free bus ride due to network error

  This morning i took SBS2774M on sv82, when board the bus, the bc say dont need to scan card as reader got error. IDFC show error, system login but missing data. I than transfer to  TIB 996J sv854, it also show the same error. Look like whole singapore some of the buses affected. anyone which encounter this so call free ride?

  Some are even indicating login on wrong bus

  ya lor. heard from the bc toking to occ than occ say continue to pick up passenger, occ say is islandwide breakdown. like 3rd july 2010 when distance fare started.

  Encountered this problem when I was going home.

  I paid. Service 190 no problem today. Both rides thru-fro OK.
  Service 14 - two bus stops fare deducted correctly.

  this is call if your luck is good, u will get free ride even without asking.

  Well, yesterday I board 198 and the bus driver said "Free Ride" from Jurong West to Boon Lay int. Same goes to 243 yesterday.

  I was affected yesterday SBS9406E on 132 all readers including old bus ticket thingy out of service. Free ride and got 1 169 all readers failed and must pay coins

  I took 9565D on 107 and I got a free ride. Plastic bags covered the EZ-Link card. I taught only the bus was experiencing IDFC error. Turned out that some other buses were affected too.
