the side EDS is able to show route details and the color of the seats are the same as the demonstrator. And the exterior door cock has moved nearer to the door rather than at the wiper
fabric red seats from Germany? might not be good in the long run!

Sources say that they will be here this year and next year.
Fully build up buses maybe take time to deliver and 300 of them. Maybe this is the first batch for SBST.
people have already said it's for SMRT. u don't know SMRT also bought citaros? stop doubting others. SMRT placed orders for the citaros first and SBST followed suit some time later

Ya, but that doesn't mean that SBST's Citaros can't arrive earlier. And muziqbus didn't state properly in his first post that these buses are plain white or not until he clarify that they are painted in SMRT livery in the third post of this thread.
Anyway, there isn't any confirmed official sources that SMRT has bought any Citaros till now and SMRT hasn't even officially announce it. Moreover someone claimed that they saw SMRT Citaros months back in Pandan Loop C&C which apparently not even one was seen when I passed by there last year to try to see one.
You don't have to be so crude, do you???

BTW are you DACH on the SGDC forums?
erm, the title shld have given a clue before his first post. SBST livery and SMRT livery is distinctively different, even without the logos.
Anyway, be patient and wait for the future if those Citaros are meant for SBST or SMRT. yep ^^

I understand that. Maybe muziqbus should have stated that he saw them in red and white livery in Pasir Panjang port in his first post, else I would think that he is just assuming that it is for SMRT where it can be for SBST.
Anyway, the thing is that there is no official statements from SMRT that they are buying new Citaros and all along there are rumors of sightings that misunderstood many other people reading the forum.

SMRT's Citaros have finally arrived!

it was announced on Daimler's website around 1 year ago that SMRT ordered 66 Citaro BlueTec urban buses.

Atmost they sent the UDs for lay-up. The SMRT mercz can wait.
Also those who want to catch the 94 mercz batch (TIB425R-TIB441T) Have to do it real fast because you won't know if some of them are going to be laid by this year.
Yeah, I hope that once the new Citaros arrive, SMRT will clear off all the Nissan UDs. If there are enough Citaros to cover, the TIB425R batch might have to go off too without another 2 years extension.
Yeah no need for TIB425 onwards to get 2 years extension. But seriously the fabric seats sucks.
Power by CNG,Thanks for your info.

Nissan UDs are also powerhorses...
Doesn mean new will be good...
By the time those 1st 9 Citaros are registered, UDs can RIP liao (But it will be waste to scrap them off since they were refurbished earlier on, most likely, will have 2nd lease of life in overseas)

No fabric seats for those buses liao, except 757 762 777. I take those Hiapano OACs recently, when I sit on the back, I can hear loud air-con sound.
...
Abt 4 Citaros now at C&C.

Yes. They purchased only 66 Citaros. Let's wait and see if 136C is part of this batch.
Okay?
