Maybe they are meant for SBS Transit.
Sources say that they will be here this year and next year.
Fully build up buses maybe take time to deliver and 300 of them. Maybe this is the first batch for SBST.
SMRT ordered first, so SMRT would get it first... Can u please post the pic here? Thanks =D
Pls post as we ardy know how the Citaro looks like.Hmm guess its the 6.4litre version..Wonder if TIB425-433 will go off
I prefer MAN NL323F...
As for me NL273F or NL313F is adequate as the engine cubic capacity is well over 10litres,Muziq bus i'm sure there's a few more.My cousin working there say there's more to come

Not that fast though
Atmost they sent the UDs for lay-up. The SMRT mercz can wait.
Also those who want to catch the 94 mercz batch (TIB425R-TIB441T) Have to do it real fast because you won't know if some of them are going to be laid by this year.
that's some news..

sorry but the old citaro thread expired.
9 unregistered SMRT Citaros had arrived on our shores. they're currently at PSA Pasir Panjang Terminal. Their delivery receipts on the windscreens states clearly as, Singapur
I'd managed to get shots of the buses. And of course, the buses came with no SMRT logo.
If allowed, I'll post the pics...
If you have snapped them on public road, you may post the pictures.
How many citaros did SMRT buy?
66?

There is no fuel consumption or weight penalty by going with the 320hp engine as opposed to the derated 270hp. The higher torque output of the 320hp rating will mean that the bus will be less stressful to drive and there is plenty of pulling power available on tap when required.
FYI, the 310hp rating is only available for Euro 4. For Euro 5, the 310hp/1550Nm single-stage turbo rating was replaced by the 320hp/1600Nm twin-stage turbo rating.

There's a cut off point just how much horsepower is optimal
Hoping to see the bus soon!
Think it'll be with the SMRT standard grey - blue/purple & red combo interior.
Hope EDS is not mobbed by Mobitec ^^ but Gorba
should be able to take pic at West Coast Mc tat side if there's no container vessels in port.
MSCP aka car 'park' is at P13 tat side
