Accident and Breakdown Thread 2011

SBS928A cameo on 502 brokedown at blk 463 bus-stop along jrg west ave 1. spotted at 2125hrs with breakdown triangle
reason: battery died. desto on but when tow truck (YK2462H) came, desto off
the bus was revived back at 2145hrs & went off svc to SLBP
the bus was well this morning & afternoon lol

It isnt just their 0405Gs. Its just about every type in SMRT's inventory less the Nissans and Lance...which ironically is the shabbiest bus ever thanks to poor mainteinance.

OMG?!?! There goes another bendy.... Seriously, just 1 mth aft 566S was burnt and they nv learn their lesson yet, now another bendy burnt.

SMB139U broke down while on 75. Gear was stuck a the 1st one,door cannot be opened, BC tried to restart engine but it did not want to start up.(Info from my friend)

The other time i boarded this bus on 75, front door slammed quite hard when it was closing line "boom, boom" when i was siting at the back..

The BC of 8278P on 24 scrapped the left side of the front bumper of the bus against the bus stop kerb outside Tanah Merah mrt stn jus nw as the bus was coming to a stop.There was a loud thud sound heard twice inside the bus when the bus scrapped against the kerb.As i and my friends got down at bedok stn,my friends all saw the left front side of the bus and saw that some part was chipped away quite badly and the inside was exposed.The BC saw us pointing to the damaged part of the bus and asked us what happened from inside the bus and immediately got down from the bus after that to check what happened.He banged the area below the headlight where the part got chipped and just continued the journey after that.

1. TIB 728S(WLDEP 969) broke down at Yishun Ave 2 , Opp Yishun Stadium bus stop at around 8AM . At that time of witness , EDS off and engine compartment was opened . Suspect doing Svc 969 when it broke down
2. TIB 1088Z(WLDEP 960) broke down at Woodlands Ave 3 , Block 347 bus stop at around 9AM . At that time of witness , EDS displayed OFF SERVICE and engine compartment opened . Suspect doing Svc 960 when it broke down

I think the LTA and the transport minster should do a sport check the SMRT bus depot maintenance -
Yesterday(21/05/11)
A B10TL with Canon NEX-3 and NEX-5 ad was towed by SBST tow truck passing by Boundary Road. Its rego part was destroyed and the back rego could not be seen as a car was blocking it. Suspected 9844Z (AMDEP 133) heading back to AMDEP. Please help to confirm.

SBS9028M (SLBP SP) broke down at Benoi Rd while doing Service 257 due to minor engine fire.

TIB 926L(AMDEP SP) broke down at Sembawang Way , outside Sembawang MRT Station at about 1450 hrs . At that time of witness , EDS Displayed " OFF SERVICE" , windscreen got Svc 882 rear deato . Suspect doing Svc 882 when it broke down . Engine compartment opened and the tow truck was at the scene , about to tow the bus for repair

Which bus is it? TIB1101T or TIB1126Y?
Can't be TIB1072T/TIB1082P/TIB1212G coz TIB1072T was on 176 yesterday, TIB1082P was on 188 yesterday and TIB1212G was on 190 just now.
I suspect that it is TIB1101T...
