Q4 bus service review

  hmm.. slightly off topic...

  I thought our dear minister said that LTA will announce the service changes affected by central bus planning by end of 2010. One week left to end of 2010, still no news yet? Or am I wrong? haha

  Wait. There are few things to say:

  1. Route 410's diversion via Shunfu Road will need to put bus stops. There are no bus stops spotted as of now.

  2. Government's approvals must also come under discretion of bus companies.

  3. They can add bus routes if they want to, or withdraw.

  Raymond is farting. Take 2 bus trips on 960 and commented the freq has improved.

  I think I read something in ST on Dec 25, delays expected, maybe early next year. "Early" next year as quoted by LTA. Take over the centralised planning for almost a year and the outcome is very "productive" instead!

  The Lakeside - Jurong West Ave 1 leg is often w/ high loading.

  Can't you just wait?

  If you want immediate, then they gotta pull buses out from current svs.

  ya lo.. our ministers all very expensive one leh.. need their services need to queue up.. then they need to think and calculate wor.. later make another once-in-50-years mistake and kena demoted like his colleague

  well one thing I can't say much being privy to info.

  But confirm plans are underway for Bt Panjang esp.

  Let me guess... besides 410, 2 more services plying somewhere in the northeast affected?

  180's S Shift slot had been converted from rigid to bendy slot. 838H replaced 608E slot which went over to perm 177 after that.
