  Sorry to burst your bubble...but, none of your 300 strong  "break down" "too old" MKIIIs were ever deregistered early. The first to go went recently due to age. Do you understand the stats?

  I don't think the OC is half as reliable. Sorry. But that's more because of its more complex electronic wizardry.

  And, I still like the MKIIIs. If you think they can't chiong then obviously you haven't really taken much of them.

   

  And I can also vouch for you that 35 is a fairly reliable service with few if any frequency problems. Any duplication of its route is highly unnecessary.

  Actually this route is recycled one. Premier operated it some 2 yrs back.

  it same goes to Lentor Premium & 825. Tue's Zaobao article, SMRT's reply over 825 is sorry... Os 825 ops hrs, take Premium . How did it got approved is beyond me.

  Because all are in the same gang. And they just want to squeeze more profits out of commuters. No, not from the service but increasing operating costs (which is totally unnecessary in the first place to intorduce this service.).
