but i think one-way journey will take only 10 minutes. comparable to hailing a cab actually. but this service only runs during weekend afternoon and evening.

I dun think so it'll occur in reality wo, esp if traffic light timing fail to meet de.
if they chiong to 25 - 30 mins, sure lambat
I'll take 35 anytime for better frequencies and more realiable service. And using premium service basis to serve people and make a profit out of people, this company is really sure of swooping underhand means to make profits out of commuters.
That bus and BC resource can jolly well boost up their poor lousy frequncies of services like 970, 980, instead of introducing this useless service.
And why is this service approved anyway? Isn't there supposed to be no new service to be introduced anymore?

if you wanna take 35 and happen to just miss it, you probably would take if it comes 5 minutes after. Service 35's frequency isnt very good anyway.... 15 - 20 mins i suppose?

new services can still be introduced, just that bus companies dun wan it to be up for bidding after they have implemented the service....
Premium bus services are subject to self proposing and self introduction.... if you have noticed... a lot of new services popping up... but all being premium services...

However you have to include the probabilty of such services based on the resources the company has. They should free up the resources instead to improve their frequencies for their basic services, and not introducing a premium service that doesn't even go to the city and overcharging commuters to a place where there is already a bus service going there.

This ($$$) comes first in Singaporean companies...

And at the expense of quality of service standards and commuters continue to suffer. I urge that this company should just get out of bus business and concentrate on providing rail services.
Sv 35 off peak is 19 mins.
Unless it's at night la
But 25 - 30 mins per 570 bus is going to sure lambat
should be using 1 bus. But afternoon slot maybe lambat.
1545 1615 1645 1715 1745 1815 1845 1930 2015 2100 2210
rebundant service........ People will choose the service which provides shorter waiting time and cheaper fare
Routing
TMFT - ECP - Bedok MRT - Tanah Merah MRT - Xilin Ave - TMFT
To SMRT: Just concentrate to improve on current existing services instead of just introducing more services.
OT: A good thing for cancellation of RWS88 actually. Maybe can have more fleet add for some of high demand services during weekends.
Anyways, there used to be a 570 plying e same long earlier this year.
The pte operator gave up pretty fast.
I think SMRT premium 570 use Merc OC500LE... SMRT want challenge SBST which bus more new because 35 uses Mk3... OC more new people would ride it... LOL XD
Race Stats:
Merc OC500LE |------------------(80km/h)-----------------------------------------> Reach already
Tanah Merah Ferry Ter
Volvo B10M Mk3 |---------(50km/h)------------->Break down (too old)
***Merc OC wins! LOL
In the first place, do you understand the stats?

business?
Since when public transport is a business? Maybe I'm write, this whole PBS will soon degrade into something to make more profits and ends up compromising basic bus svs.
I'll say tis from e past. You dunno how to settle basics, dun come and think of making profits.
As for speeding, those dump trucks accident at Changi not enough?
If not business then how come everytime fare increase?Overcharge people?Then those caught underpaid even unintended must pay fine?And in the first place did i mention speed?If you say Brazilian BRT public tpt then i believe is aint business.Otherwise dun talk cock and i dun need your advice.
