Good and Bad service of the day

  This topic is mainly for your outstanding/worse ride of the buses and the BC/SL itself.

  As for me just a short joyride taking SMRT buses today after werk..

  S67:SMB112X-Sims Ave(Opp Eunos Int) to Sims Ave East(Opp Bedok Int),Driver was fast but steady and safety conscious.Also from his style of driving i can tell he was experience..Bus less jerk and high speed braking is superb!

  S854:TIB995L-Bedok Int to Jln Eunos,Uncle was slow but quite courteous,Ocassionaly he waited for a few elderly and 1 pregnant woman to be seated before moving off.

  S61:SMB123P-Jln Eunos to Eunos Int,Chinaman i think,Drive bus like a madman anyhow whack till he nearly forget to stop to allow alighting @ Jln Turi.Got a good scolding by one Malay Uncle!!

  Service 185: SBS8438U - From Commwealth Ave (Buona Vista MRT) to Commonwealth Ave West (Clementi MRT) - the BC greeted every onboarding passengers 'Good Evening'. when I took the bus yesterday evening.

  Service 225G: SBS5176U  Full Trip
  As there was rain during the trip and the bus stops along Bedok North St 3 are smaller than the bus, the BC opened the entrance door to let alighting passengers alight instead of the exit door, before allowing boarding passengers to board.

  Svc 43's wab standard is very bad 2day, as many as 2-3 consecutive non wab buses can arrive.

  I think it is best to close and lock this thread before it turns into a complaining and flaming thread. And it also poses as a potential evidence that might break the ricebowls of some of the BCs, as mentioned in this thread.

  Service 171's WAB standards are far worse than Service 43's WAB standards. I always see O405s / L113s on 171 but not OCs.

  No Way. This place is to be seen as a way how you feel about what's happening to the bus that day that makes you think that it's good or bad.

  How come I see plenty of OCs at Upp bukit timah rd on 171 almost everytime, other than the WLDEP O/CACs/striders going on 171?

   

  I took 50R and 98D this week still say no WAB?

  He says that there are less WABs on 171 not no WABs on 171.

  see you take at which wave..... if you at the WLDEP blocks, then no OCs for you.... other side is where the OCs are lor... i kena before..

  Actually WLDEP slots not to say don't have but super-hard to kena one, 1 WLDEP OC did 171 before, not sure if it is SMB128B, see next time you are lucky enough might kena 134H on 171 on a full day basis

  Service 162M [Full trip] > SBS2804K

  Good points: 

  -Driver really knows how to play tactics in Orchard rd, overtaking almost 4 other 162M.

  -Smooth braking, very alert.

  -Look out for ppl before leaving bus stop, friendly and nice to chat with.

   

  Bad points:

  -Driver sometimes over-rev the engine, causing the whole bus to jerk badly.

   

  One of my best rides on a DM3500 :D

  I truly agree with u on that. Have ever noticed several 0405s (mainly those from WLDEP) arriving consecutively. Main reason is that service 171 comes under partial WLDEP controlled which do not have any perm OC500LEs...

  This must have been HGDEP's problem with the spare buses when they still refuse to get rid of those ageing Volvo MK3s...

  No perm OCs but very hard to get one OC to start from WLDEP.

  one fine Saturday several months back, SMB119C on 171TQ01. i guess it was in March / April.

  WL 171 got 1 TQ Slot during weekends? Which means 5 A/P 1 TQ running instead of 6 full-day? Iirc, 119C cameoed on 171 last year December.
