I don't know - info not from me.
I was on the LRT at around 5:45pm.
Realized at the LRT platform, there were quite alot of SMRT staffs. Some in their corporate colours, others in business attire with their SMART lanyards Wearing their SMART passes.
On my train, there was one staff too. With a walkie talkie.
I was thinking it could be a minister visiting event or something.
So could this be a link to it? Seems pretty weird that SMRT staff wearing white long sleeve shirts and business pants are on the platform though.
1 week ago, it was 113 which broke down.

As a matter of fact PA2222T isn't owned by SMRT at all. PA2020J is the correct rego you are looking for, I believe.

It was during a peak period, last wednesday. Around 6:30 to 7:00pm.
Situation was quite serious, people queued from the LRT pathways and staircase to the MRT platform.
Extreme till transcom has to be activated.

likely that these staff were activated last minute from their offices to help contain the situation.
Can they scrap the LRT. Just stop operating them. LOL. Save up on maintenance costs.
Buses are always better. Bukit Panjang residents dun really trust the LRT. Always break down. 5-10 minutes breakdown every day is like normal occurence.
Like my friend tell me, I will reach on time by bus. By LRT, maybe will be late.
chicken n egg problem
Tat's how they let SMRT survive e LRT. Dun allow buses inside e newer devt areas, 920 & 922 let 20 - 27 mins freq.
Seriously the mess crowd on e BPLRT now is partly because inside area no bus, take LRT to Pending or Bt Panjang Stn.
The BPLRT is always having Problems...
and SMRT can't do anything about it, since BPLRT is not their property...
They only contract with LTA to operate...
