They should just donate to charity. 9 out of 10 don't check their ez links when they tap out. How to claim refund? Even if claim, fill in the bloody form and queue just to get a few dollars back....what's the big deal?

why dont they give the refund on each commuter's next travel?
with everything computerised nowadays i am sure there are better ways to do it.
anyway they know very well a lot of people wont be bother coz its ONLY a few cents.
the trouble and the time take definitely surpassed the overcharged-amount. refund or not its a lose-lose situation for commuters.
anyone knows who is the one who came up with the distance fare idea? a scholar?
Most of the higher ranking civil servants who make the decisions are scholars. If there are people down below who finds their ideas absurb, are they in the capacity to override them?
This is how singapore works, just shut up and follow orders, you want to keep your job or things made difficult for you?
can claim refund? think again....
who lives beside the place where you can seek refund? most don't. as such, we have to take either mrt or bus to reach there. this will incur cost which will go to their pockets.
thus, the take give you some, they take back some so in the end most will actually fork out more for transportation to seek refund than the amount to be refunded.
the whole thing is just bullshit................a trick..............
this is just one of PAP's ploy to trick voters into thinking they're so honest.................the PAP Wayang Show has already started with the arrests of teenage gangsters.............
do not be fooled.............expect more horsecrap from PAP as election nears.............

how are you going to check in this case?
most ppl here dun know wat's going on and just make attacks tat has no meaning.
Firstly, you can't check because you're deducted the correct fare. The issue is the distance clocked shown in the bus guide as in bus stop mileage marking right now are wrong.

That's why when they tell me bus should charge like taxi by distance, they've owned themselves.
End up now same routing diff distance, worst than taxi
now 902 same as 169 in distance = 1.1km. u forgot 169 calls at the Woodlands Ave 2 stop while 902 doesnt.

who cares about their problems. they are running a company. they solve their own problems.
but they are giving commuters problems. thats the problem!!!
ONLY a fraction of the passengers overcharged after an error by bus companies have come forward to get their refund - leaving about $276,000 still unclaimed.
So far, only about $24,000 has been collected, out of an estimated $300,000 owed to commuters.
