I travelled thru it on a 3 tonnes, very bumpy ride. Along some part, there are steep cliffs on both sides of the track. The whole of this track is in a live firing area, out of access to public.
It is a road that is unused (and is a military protected area thingy), only that trucks and buses (that one got SAF and contractors) can go in.
K230UB/ OC500LE did not eventually use Lorong Danau and Jalan Sungei Poyan.

Can, convert route 405 into day service. Extend route 405 to Jalan Sungei Poyan also. Can no need to do 3-point turn, forget about this.

No. Went over to Pasir Laba Camp (like what I wrote on Microsoft FrontPage - 'Pasir Laba Camp'). It did not eventually went Peng Kang Hill, and through the end of the Pasir Laba Road.

If u are going to enter from jalan sungei poyan to that range, prepare to enjoy a very bumpy ride on whatever vehicle.
Its however possible to enter till a limited area via jalan sungei poyan, the last time i remember theres dump trucks doing construction or something. But its not possible to go through till pasir laba road.
nono.. i'm not mistaken..
i went up the hill before..
entered/exit by the track opposite the shooting centre

that means i have sent countless people to the wrong range for gpmg live firing!
Outing to Jalan Sungei Poyan / Old Choa Chu Kang Road end, maybe can plan their outings.
what are the buses does service 450 use?

450?
Cheers.
The only bus route that goes up there is route 405, but we all know that this route operates on special days only.
My suggestion is to turn this route into a day service, as previously suggested by someone else here. On normal days, the route will turn into Choa Chu Kang Road end only, and will not serve Lim Chu Kang Road. The route will also only operate on days and during hours when the Gun Club is open.
On festive days when the route traditionally operates on, route 405 will be renumbered 405M and serve Lim Chu Kang Road as well. The operating hours will be the same as before.

Eons ago, there used to be a route 450 that runs up to Pasir Laba. It's long gone now, but really old bus guides have information on it. Go to the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library at the National Library Building (11th floor), and go look for the old bus guides. Try looking at the ones from 1970's and 1980's.
what are the vehicles that are allowed access in here?
450 got use JRBP bus type vehicles.
